Been waiting for this all gen!! It wouldn't have been complete without Christmas NiGHTS too, glad it will be included.
This is the one Vita game I want more than any other, really looking forward to seeing how it looks. After all this time I hope it's more than just an increase in resolution.
What ever happened to Tekken 3?? I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was on the store. One of my favourite PS1 games as a kid.
The only game I've come across so far that has long load times is Wipeout 2048.
Saying that, if you download the PS3 tracks (HD and Fury) they actually load up a lot faster.
I need a bigger memory card.
The Bioshock opening was perfectly done IMO. The fire on the water looked fantastic, the sense on not-knowing what was going on around you, and the slow decent into the gorgeous world of Rapture. All perfect.
I'm all for single player DLC but it feels like they've left this far too long. Obviously the outrage with the ending has shifted Bioware's priorities, but I think the DLC with ME2 was done perfectly, and that's what I expected again this time round. Most people have moved on from ME3 by now.
The adventure mode was awesome, much better then a standard Grand Prix. The world was an absolute joy to play too, especially in planes. Mario Kart was easily the better multiplayer game though, can't beat using a lightning bolt on Wario stadium on THAT jump.
CryEngine 3 gets my vote but to be fair we haven't really seen what any of these engines are truly capable of yet.
I've spent more hours on Minecraft XBLA than any other game this year by a long shot. It's brilliant fun crafting with a few mates over Xbox live and watching the hours fly past, even my girlfriend has got into it lately! Xbox live + split screen is perfect for this type of game.
Yeah it doesn't have all the features of the pc version, but the core game is there and it really shines on the 360. Plus console games don't necessarily get constant support the way ...
Exactly the kind of game I was hoping to see on the Vita. It looks so cool, and it's a completely unique Vita experience (not a sequel or spin off to one of the PS3s big guns).
Really hope it turns out as brilliant as it looks.
That's great for Nintendo and those who were planning on buying a Wii U but it's definitely a huge shame for everyone else as the first one was absolutely brilliant.
I had the 360 version of Origins but sold it to buy the Vita version, and I was hoping to pick up Legends on the Vita too.
I'm sure it will be great on Wii U (and look gorgeous on both screens) but it's definitely the type of pick up and-play-game that suits portables.
After E3 the only thing I'd really like to see is more love for the Vita, which is pretty much a given.
Anything else is a bonus.
I'm looking forward to seeing what Crytek can do next gen but I'm glad they're releasing Crysis 3 this gen. That way they can take their time getting to grips with next gen hardware so that the inevitable Crysis 4 will be a big jump for the series.
Looking forward to more freedom this time around though, my main gripe with Crysis 2 was the relatively poor AI and smaller locations, compared to Crysis 1 at least.
I really hope this is a quality title. I was a bit gutted that Deadlight only got half decent reviews, the trial hasn't convinced me to part with my MS points unfortunately but I'll pick it up when it inevitably goes on sale.
This looks brilliant though, and the art style is great.
I hope the Wii U is awesome, competition always results in better games and features for us. Quite interested to see what the UI will look like and if Nintendo have any Easter eggs hidden away.
I remember the Gamecube, I think if you pressed certain buttons during the console start-up you got some cheeky Nintendo sound FX.
I also think the Wii U will be a lot more relevant this time. I'd have got more use out of the Wii if it was integrated better with ...
No problem:)
In the days of the N64 (goldeneye, Mario kart etc) and even in the early days of the original Xbox (halo anyone!) online gaming, at least as far as widespread console gaming went, didn't exist.
The only option for multiplayer was split screen or system link.
Now every game with any kind of multiplayer caters for online first as this is the way most people play multiplayer games. It's just a bonus when games like Halo, Gears etc allow split screen.
Fable: The Lost Chapters was easily the best in terms of game mechanics, although I thought 2 was really good too.
I'm not keen on the direction they've been heading in since though, hopefully 4 (next gen?) will return to the roots, while delivering on all the promises.
Very happy with mine, and the future looks very promising. Only thing I need is a bigger memory card so a price drop on those would be nice.
Loving the recent PS1 support, currently playing through FF7 AGAIN:)
