Port Windwaker for $40 and I'm all in. But, this is Nintendo, so it'll be $60 for three years straight with no discounts and I won't buy it...
In a way what you say makes sense. Both companies are selling out of all of their stock, so maybe going triple over the competition is overkill, but it's also about getting that mindset that PlayStation is the place to play, and building that momentum is huge. In the long run it will definitely pay off, but does seem silly right now at first glance.
Him as a front runner for PSVR2 would be awesome, but he's not really a character that you can turn into a cash cow. He's great at introducing new tech but I don't think you can make franchises out of him. But please Sony, keep that tech coming so you can keep using him!
I was gaming on a PS4 Pro and a laptop, so I can't hear anything coming out of my PS5
Sony should've taken into account that their new system is $100 (yes I know the digital one isn't) more than last gen's system. You could practically buy the PS4 and two games for the price of the PS5! Increasing the price of games should've been a thing a couple of years into the generation when they drop the price of the PS5. Sadly I'll be buying fewer games for the time being...
Literally the first tweet I got from him after logging on got me to a PS5! You are my savior!
Seriously, two of my friends who hardly even game were able to get one somehow and here I am, still clicking refresh every five minutes on ten different websites!
My brother-in-law did this! And he also didn't even have it in Widescreen mode so it was all stretched out. I fixed it for him and the difference was uncanny!
I remember for the longest time Crash NSane Trilogy would take like three minutes to get through all of the splash screens. It was sooooo annoying
The dude probably makes a Mil a year, I'm sure he'll have one in every room of his house by the time most people get their first one.
Microsoft doesn't understand the power of momentum anymore. They understood it for the 360 launch, but have failed these past two launches. You have to start strong and they start this gen with zero games to be excited about.
As long as they have a work around to log into public ISPs, the browser isn't necessary
Personally, I'm stoked that devs are utilizing dynamic resolution more to keep games at solid frames! Plus, all of the other QoL features Sony is implementing has me stoked for the future of gaming
Sony has to create some incentive to upgrade fully to a PS5 so I'm thinking they're going to still have a lot of games exclusive, but the franchises that started on PS4 will most likely be cross-gen so the players have a chance to enjoy without upgrading. Hoping GoW can take full advantage of the PS5 though
They can't even get games made for the two they already have, and they want to make more?!
Seriously, dynamic resolution is one of the greatest innovations to come out for gaming in a long time. As long as the resolution doesn't swing from 4k to 1080p then it's perfectly fine. I love that more devs are utilizing this technology. Gives them more options to tinker around with while maintaining 60fps. Anybody who opposes this *Obscure* is a dimwit
I honestly thought Peter Parker's face was the least realistic face of the PS4 version's Spiderman. I'm glad they're going a different route. We'll see if the new guy's face works better when the game comes out!
Dynamic resolution is one of the best innovations by developers in a long time imho. It allows you to keep framerate much more steady, which at these high resolutions, is more of a must than keeping it at a static 4k resolution. Can't wait to see how it's implemented!
As much as I wish this to be the case to keep competition alive and strong, there is no way Xbox consoles will keep up with PlayStation. Maybe in the first year it will be fun to watch due to limited supply and all the early adopters gobbling them all up, but the gap will widen after that.
I've played it strictly on Lethal and it's awesome! Tough as nails but it's really the best way to play
