GOWIII isn't even out yet. Reach will also be a major contender, as will GT5. I still think that many companies of some games up their sleeves which may surprise us all. Honestly, if Uncharted weren't as good as it was, Batman might have been slated to take down some awards. Also, don't forget that Demon's Souls got a GOTY from at least one site. This year is likely to be more split. Problem is, games that come out at the start of the year are always a little less likely to make it. New Vegas...
But GOWIII is definitely going to be the system seller of the first half of the year. Sony needs to get some TV advertising out before hand though, really build the anticipation. I can't wait to see the TV spots, they've been on a role lately, and I know they'll just hit this one out of the park.

It seems that it's become so expected that this game will or should get a high review, people don't even comment on them. But as soon as someone (mostly Bungie) posts a low one, the article rockets to 1000 degrees in minutes.
If you don't like the poor reviews, then why are you giving them so much attention? Give the attention to the positive reviews that deserve it.
You should have a little more faith in crytek. I don't believe the PC version will be "gimped" because of the console versions, and I don't believe that the PS3 version will be "gimped" by 360.
