We did just see Rage on PC. This wouldn't be the first time that an E3 booth was set up with a PC running the software connected to an Xbox controller you know. I think the same is true of many of the games that are PS3/PC on the E3 floor, since you can easily do the same thing with a PS3 controller.

Everyone thought that the conference Crysis footage was running on Xbox because the buttons displayed on screen were Xbox buttons, but it was actually PC footage that displa...

Yeah, I thought it was a wii game when I started watching the trailer. Not that graphics are everything, but given that they haven't done so well on the recent games in the franchise, if they're not even going to update the graphics a little, how am I to expect them to make anything else better?

LBP1 was an amazing game and should not be knocked one bit just because the second game added so much. That's like saying that FFVII should have been more like FFX because FFX has better graphics. Now if we were talking about something like what happened with L4D 1 and 2, you'd have a point.

Duh, that's the point. If it's funny it's okay because it's all fun and games. Xbox PR department spits bull that is neither true nor funny. KB doesn't even talk that much about Xbox, and what he says is always light hearted.

Terribly embarrassing typo.

Agreed, but the conditions for determining what is significant are more or less arbitrary.

You may think that adding PS2 BC is of major significance and therefore warrants a whole number switch, but someone at Sony may not think so. All in all, the numbering of the update is not important enough to really care about.

A: you meant a la carte, not a la mode (do you really want ice cream on top of your wipeout HD?)

B: It basically means that you get 4 free rentals a month with the service, discounts for purchases, and early access to things. That doesn't change the fact that you can buy the games if you want, but you won't necessarily have to cause you can rent many for free. That's great because a lot of PSN titles are kind of a 1 time shot. Once you've got all the trophies ...

All of the articles and press releases have specifically stated that people with PSPlus would be able to communicate with people who don't have it. They'll even be able to host parties of multiple people who don't have it, so people without the service can talk to one another so long as they are also talking to someone with the service.

Sony never promised that xgchat would be free. That you can play the games online for free is more than enough as compared with XBL. If they didn't have a key feature like this restricted to the PSPlus service, there wouldn't be enough of an incentive for the day to day gamer unless they really want the specific PSN games on offer (which not everyone are necessarily into). Look at it this way, Sony's games division has been literally bleeding out money for the past 4 years because...

As to why you don't seem to understand the concept of hypocrisy. You don't know what it means because when you look it up in the dictionary there's no entry for your retarded spelling of the word. Hypocrisy is a portmanteau of the greek root 'hypo' (meaning under or lesser) and criticism, not 'cracy'(the greek root for government or rule, as in democracy, rule of the people, were demo is the greek root for people).

This steam thing could be bigger than we yet realize. The portal thing could be just the beginning, it's possible that PS3 might integrate with steam for game downloading. I'm not saying this is for certain, but it would certainly explain Gabe's new tone.

You don't have to say something made you laugh after writing LOL. LOL means that something made you laugh out load. LOL.

The number doesn't really mean anything, they just pick what they want.

More than likely, the reason why we're still in the 3's is because they planned all of this stuff at the same time to be released over time.

E3 isn't just for gamers, it's also for investors and the media. It's an opportunity for the company to razzle dazzle the business community just as much as it is one to get Gamer's excited.

Clearly your name fits:

KZ3 was freakin' amazing.
LBP2 was stunning.
Move support for all FPS games is awesome, and sorcery demonstrated that it has a lot of potential applications for other genres.

Clearly you already had your mind made up on KZ and LBP, so they were never going to excite you since you're a hater. Even then you have to admit objectively that those are two of the most successful franchises this gen, LBP in particular. ...

Killzone 3, Socom 4, Tigerwood PGA Tour, LBP 2, Echochrome 2 etc. aren't decent looking titles?

A: If you think one game alone can win E3, then you're not being very objective.

B: Nintendo fanboys don't fight everyday because they barely exist. Everyone likes Nintendo, but few people love them.

C: Sony's number of game offerings for PSP were very comparable to the 3DS game offerings, the 3DS only has the advantage of being 3D, something which I haven't seen and so is as yet unproven to me. For the consoles though, Sony destroys hands dow...

He clearly did not intend to break the game, he just wanted to see the system upright. You can hear in the audio he had no idea that was going to happen, he was shocked when someone told him not to do that.

I've moved a regular Xbox before while the disk was in and that didn't happen.

I've had this happen to me once before, and that was with a PS2, but only when it was literally dropped at high velocity because my nephew got his foot wrapped in t...

A. This is clearly not an obscure site, industry insiders talk about it all the time along with Neogaf when discussing the effect of the web on gaming. I found out about this site by watching an episode of Bonus Round on game trailers.

B. The rest of the internet has said the same things about the MS press conference. Aside from a very few actually obscure sites, almost every major gaming news site has said that they were unimpressed by the MS conference, particularly because...

I actually thought that was an awesome looking game, unfortunately, I don't see it as being really any different from just buying a dance video and practicing on your own.

The problem with the demonstration was that they never showed errors. When you screw up in DDR, you know you missed the button. This presentation had people who clearly already rehearsed the dance routine a bunch of times, including their prototypical two-left-footed game developer nerd boy, and not onc...
