well, the title actually does say american sales charts, but as usual, sony trolls come on here and start touting japan hardware sales numbers or european sales numbers.....they just need to take a look and learn that the 360 outsold the ps3 in the united states, and total sales worldwide, again, even after the 40gb ps3 has been out for over a month...

why is it that whenever a good game comes out for the 360 that has gotten really good reviews, ps3 fanboys start posting "reviews" from all these no-name websites? it is absolutely amazing the amount of new websites that i have never heard of, that seem to pop up with bad reviews on games that LEGITIMATE gaming magazines have praised......
so after having the price drop and introduction of the 40gb ps3, it still couldn't outsell the 360, which didn't do anything aside from what it has always done, release and sell hardware and games.....
oh wait, i'll edit my comment...if the numbers are dead on (which all sony fangirls cry that vgcharts are inaccurate), then the ps3 outsold the 360 by about 400 consoles WORLDWIDE....wow, looks like the juggernaut is still asleep lol

yeah but consider one very important thing.....Halo3 is ONLY available on the xbox360, so it sold 3,700,000 units on the 360 alone.
Madden 08, on the other hand, is available on ALL platforms, xbox360, ps3, ps2, psp, wii, nintendo ds...so 3,200,000 is the total sold on all the gaming consoles COMBINED
just wanted to make sure everyone understood the numbers correctly....

NPD is the data for ONLY the U.S.

i think my rage started at an early age, and built up with each comment I read from sony fanboys regarding anything to do with sales figures :)
every time a story comes out of how the ps3 outsold the 360 in one week, or sales increased of the ps3 due to a price drop or whatever, every sony fanboy jumps on here with the typical comments like "see, the ps3 is gonna steam roll the 360" or one of my favorites "the juggernaut has been awaken!"....

i was able to get both games at Circuit City today in Kildeer, Illinois. I got the last copy of Call of Duty 3 (platinum edition was the last copy of CoD3 they had). I had checked yesterday and all stores were sold out around me, luckily I called today right before lunch and one last store I tried actually had it! no fuss either, i talked to the guy at CC, and he said they had one copy left and that he would put it on hold for me, so i hopped in my car and picked it up

when ANY company releases numbers comparing sales, most do not say "we outsold our competitor 1.6537 to 1, they try to reach numbers that are closer to whole numbers, and they can't say 2 to 1, so they post a number like 5 to 3.....sony does it all the time with blu-ray
