i am surprised at the increased sales numbers of the 360 for one simple reason...
people in february had the option of buying a ps3 for the release of killzone2, or to buy a 360, which sony fanboys keep saying has a poor gaming lineup for 2009....yet, the 360 OUTSOLD the ps3...again...hmm, interesting....

this game is now officially on my rental list instead of my buy list thanks to the greed of capcom. if they had included the online modes in the game, then i would have bought this game, but seeing as you have to pay extra for it, i am now not buying this game....simple as that. capcom charging for this stuff is going to affect alot of people on whether or not they decide to buy the game. i usually only buy games that have online multiplayer, BUT only if it's already included in the game.....
Capcon is arguing that it is okay to have versus mode as an additonal cost in DLC because RE games never had it before???? by that logic, every single sequel to every game has to be exactly like the first one, with no new gaming innovations, since those innovations cost more to "develop"....give me a break. if you are a game developer trying to make a better product than your previous one, then you do it without "adding on" costs to the consumer. if you are a developer ...

i have a feeling that the harddrive space on the pro will be increased since they are phasing out the elite....microsoft always talks about digital distribution, so it would make no sense for the larger harddrive to suddenly disappear. i expect they are getting rid of the elite because at $399, it's not much of a bargain in todays economy, and is probably not selling well at all compared to the 60gb pro version. they will have a $199 and $299 xbox, and probably ...
this dlc better be free because the game JUST came out, and they already have "new" downloadable content that couldn't have been included when the game was released?? thanks for the nickel and dime game....can't wait til every developer figures out that they can make an arcade game that is 3/4 finished, release it, then a month later get everyone to pay for the stuff they were going to include but remembered that they can just charge extra for everything....which developer is going...
this is kind of a useless article, isn't it? this guy is saying that because the ps3 outsold all other consoles by like 20,000 in it's HOMELAND, that it is set for global supremacy?? um, if we use that logic, what would you call it when the 360 outsells the ps3 every week by more than double that number even though the ps3 has their "system seller" game, killzone2, out already?...please discuss with as much fanboyism as you see fit, i expect about 40 or more disagrees with my stat...
the tracks are supposed to be the master recordings, not covers like they were for previous guitar hero games.
i agree with you that they should make this DLC....charge like $30 and be done with it....if it were ALL the songs from the previous games, then i'd be up for dropping $60 on this game to get like 150-200 more songs that support all the instruments, but only 48 songs??? why should we pay full price for less songs than the GT:WT game??? this is an expansion pack at best...
i am in agreement with the people that are pointing the most logical reason for this....the economy is bad, and by phasing out the elite, microsoft will have 2 options for consumers...a $199 and $299 console....BAM...instant price drop without actually dropping the price!

i actually would have thought the ps3 would be selling alot more due to the release of Killzone2 today. logic would tell you that if people were waiting for this game to buy a ps3, they would be buying them right before the game is released (today) in order to be able to play the game right away...oh well, wait and see on if the game will move a significant amount of systems or not.....
