They promised and under-delivered. Even after all this time, you're not gonna get the promised CG-quality. BUT they still expect you to pay $60 for it.
It's gonna wow people, until they realize that they've already had much better racers on both consoles. All they can do is hope that everyone who's been wanting a racing game hasn't already bought one or are so anal about racing that they'd actually buy more than one PLUS GT just because it's GT. ...
If you want to innovate then you need to break misconceptions and sometimes that takes having to stick to your guns despite what the fans want. You can't please everyone, so at least go for the product as you would envision it.
And besides...the fans only want what they want because it was something new to them in the first place. It's hard to go back to "first"...you can't keep making the first of anything, unless you're like Square who makes a ne...
Apple has realy only one thing going for it and that's they seem to be the best at setting trends. It's quite a streak of fortune really that they've been able to launch phones laptops and mp3 players that have sold remarkably well and have been well reviewed. They make everything uniform, that's what they're good at. Which could suit the console world if only they'd pick a side already.
My guess is that they really don't know which side to pick,...

Anyway, it's definitely the finest rpg this gen.
Little by little Microsoft is evolving their console to meet a newer audience as well as the criticisms of the older audience.
Xbox 360 isn't perfect, but at least Microsoft shows their genuine interest in keeping the brand fresh and staying connected with gamers. I wasn't the first to like the changes but little by little I'm liking what they have to offer.
If you don't, buy a PS3. For me, my next console will be the 360 S and this contro...
I have a friend who's just gotten hooked on the game and his brother has a PS3 so it's true that good games are universal. He doesn't want to spend money on hardware so I wouldn't blame the guy. Same as a lot of other people, gamers in general aren't too happy when they can't play the games they want.
Hopefully those irritating PS3 fanboys will give this game the credit it deserves when it gets mystified by the bluray paintjob, same as anything else ...

Kratos is the MOST ONE DIMENSIONAL CHARACTER EVER. Violence is his only emotion, revenge is his only motive. A guy like him can star in the most epic adventure ever (GoW III) but nowhere in that game is a moment that rivals the part in the original Mass Effect where you have to chose whether or not the Rachni race will continue.
Plus Vigil on Ilos, those moments far outweight the wanton violence of a hack n slash anyday.
Drake? You mean that Mark Whalberg wannabe?
He's got character, but nothing about the guy isn't anything original. Shepard on the other hand can be down right cruel or a defender of the galaxy depending on your choices. He's actually got way more character than Drake ever had, despite his neutral toned voice acting.
The same reasons why PS3 gamers defend RSX being a last gen graphics chip or PS3 having too little memory resources to fully utilize bluray games.
Fanboys don't like to hear about such blasphemy.
Kinect is a lot more than a webcam. Webcams have no logic, that comes from software. Kinect is an entire A/V recognition system. It's both the hardware that does the job and the software that ties it into the Xbox gaming experience.
Sony's strategy: shove useless features down your throat to get you believe it's "only" $600, then cut out the ones they admit being "non-essential to gaming".
PS3 is going to get cut short. They can't afford to be second again next gen, even though they've already said that they'll be launching after the other consoles.
PS2 rode a tidal wave of success off of DVD. Things are different now, and the same is going to happen next gen. Sony needs to start innovating, all they've done for the 3rd straight gen is try to win through a disc format. What's next, tera-pixel resolution and 500 GB discs? Not if it means 5+ y...
BIG time. Its graphics weren't all that PS3 fanboys have made them out to be, and the guy is seriously the most one dimensional character I've ever played.
Castlevania really doesn't have much to beat if the game I played is the game PS3 fanboys are squealing about.
They "claimed" a billion in losses, but in all honesty the money really didn't leave their pockets. The costs of refurbishing or replacing consoles really isn't all that much.
Doesn't mean much really, I gues sit just helps to reasure people when they go back to it that they're not being charged. Makes since that way I guess.
