Am i the only one that is getting quite sick of the constant crap that Infinity Ward seem to be getting lately. Fair enough, some of it is justified, but its becoming almost a daily thing now. Its boring. I bet if this was some sort of line used in GTA nobody would be reacting like this.

Now all we need is the UK Government, BT and broadband companies to get upto speed, lift broadband caps and start improving the broadband speeds in this country. I'm with TalkTalk, and having a 1mb speed and 80gig/month cap is virtually killing my uses for things like this. Its why i don't consider the Skyplayer service on the 360 to be a big deal just yet. Speeds and caps are just ruining the service and quality you receive.

I'd also hammer alot of the PS3's sales on the fact that the d-pad is utter arse on the 360 (and PES players generally prefer using the d-pad from what i gather in forums) and that the majority of the editing scene is focused around the PS3 version because its easier to get edits from the internet on the machine.

Microsoft are in danger of doing exactly what Sony did during the early days of the Playstation 3. They are becoming far too arrogant.

Lets face it, if this game was developed by Bungie and had Halo in the title, 95% of people would be going crazy for it.
But because its Activision and they decided to rip people off, the game has suddenly become crap.
I'm personally looking forward to it, it should be a very enjoyable game, which is all that matters really
I must admit i'm not a massive fan of the DS to be honest. I agree with those who say its got better RPG's, that i can just about agree with, but for me, the PSP is better in every other area.
I suppose the one thing that annoys me about the DS is that its just full of shovelware titles. And i mean full. Go into a local gamestore here in the UK, and the shelves are dominated by 'brain training' games or titles like the 'Imagine' series. And to be honest, i can't really reme...

The PS2 slim was also far cheaper than the PS3 slim, it also wasn't released during a rather terrible recession, and the PS2 slim was released late October/early November, pushing it inline with the beginning of the Christmas push that all consoles get.

And in other news, when i once ran an independant chain of entertainment stores in the North West of UK, it took us 3 full days to sell all 5 units of the Xbox360 when that launched, sold one PSP when that launched, sold 10 PS2 slims in 2 days when that launched and we probably sold 3 DS's a week, if we were lucky.
Bottom line, its a crap article. One store doesn't give any indication of how well a console is selling across hundreds of chains of stores. If that was the case, ...

Whilst i agree with you that Sony needs to focus more on the gaming front, we have to remember that these generations are not just about the games anymore, but about all aspects of media.
Never before have we had consoles capable of so much in terms of different media. Maybe Sony feel that the games alone will thrive by themselves, and have different adverts for the top titles planned (for instance, pushing Uncharted 2 more and forcing that its exclusive to Ps3, or using the M...

I'm one of those who doesn't mind the small but often updates that Sony does. When you look at how much and how far the PS3 system and its features have come since launch, i have been rather impressed. I'm certainly not one to moan because i have to spend 10 minutes of my life downloading something, there are far more important things to moan about (like stupidly high failure rates, or far too expensive hardware and add-ons)
