God, the whole 'generic' arguement people are throwing up is doing my head in.
How many generic FPS games are there? Lost count. Third Person Shooters? Hundreds? Sports games? Same thing every year with updated rosters. I could go on and on about every genre of gaming.

I had a problem last night with MW3.
Started the game on my 360, the screen went black and just stayed black. When i tried to return to the Dashboard, the whole thing froze and had to turn the 360 off.
Started again, loaded MW3 and same thing happened. This time, i signed out of XBL and suddenly the game started to kick in and loaded up properly.

And thats if i haven't already maxed out my download limit, which is currently 60gb per month. And given we go alot of stuff over the net in our household, 60gb generally doesn't get you very far.

Im not a massive fan for CoD games myself, and much prefer the more tactical, generally slower pace of Battlefield, mainly as it requires you to think more.
Having said that, i really don't care if one outsells the other. It isn't going to effect my enjoyment, infact the only thing it does effect is EA's or Activisions bank balance, which is the last thing on my mind when buying/playing a game

Only real problem i have with the offer is that they are downloadable titles. For me to download the 5 titles, it would take me approximately 2-3days straight, without anyone else in my home using the internet and the 360 being left on 24/7.
I'd have much prefered physical media, mainly due to that reason, and i really like owning as physical product.

I thought most games that are bundled actually don't have a barcode, and are usually replaced with something like 'Bundle Item. Not For Resale'. Could be wrong, been a while since i were in retail

On a less sarcastic and more serious note, i think the PSV is easily great value for money. If i had the choice between, using Jac5als example, buying an Ipod Touch for £200-£220 or buying the PSV for £230, then the PSV would be chosen every day for me.

They tend to rip you off something rotten. Even pre-owned games are expensive, and i've lost count of the amount of times pre-owned titles have been more expensive than new
I loved Freedom Fighters. I think theres quite a few titles from the PS2/Xbox era that need revisiting to be honest.

I dont think many would doubt that the Wii does have some very good games. The problem is that the bad really does outweigh the good, and a good 60-70% of its games are just generic 'party' crap.
I also wonder at times would alot of the games been better if they didn't include motion control. I'm not a fan of motion control, regardless of system, and i can't help wondering would some of the Wii's better games be alot better off if motion control wasn...

I'm not really interested in a newer generation of hoem consoles at the mintue. I still think there's plenty to get from the 360 and Ps3, both gaming wise and media wise too.

Well, for starters, if memory serves me right, content can still be published on the store on any given day, so just because its not on the 'main' store update, does not mean it won't be on at all this week.
Secondly, the pricing issue has very little to do with Sony, and more to do with the publishers and developers, who have more of a say in how much they want to sell their product for. Only thing you can probably label Sony of is being abit too soft with these...
I agree with you, and i wouldn't say people hate sequels, but more wary about them. I don't mind sequels as long as the games continue to bring new, fresh ideas along with the solid structure of the previous games and a decent story.
Its the copy/paste jobs that people cannot stand
