Don't like that carousel thing at all. I *want* the sliders. I want to be able to customize exactly how my character looks instead of trying to find the right randomly generated or pre-made thing that probably won't even come close to what I want. And they don't even let you pick a freaking gender first? Terrible.

The point is most people thought 3 would be the end of the story, especially with how long it took to make and how much trouble they had to go through. There's no reasonable guarantee that there even will be a 4th one at this point, so he's basically saying "here's an incomplete story again guys, but don't worry 4 will totally come out".
Have fun never getting the complete story if 3 doesn't do well. FFS, people just need to end their series and satisfy their fans instead of dragging things out so much.

I think calling this a "meltdown" is more than a little hyperbolic, but they definitely didn't deal with it well. If they didn't want to address your review, they should have just ignored you. I wasn't wondering. SE loves announcing major games like this when there's barely been any progress made. In fact, I'll even go as far as to say I'll be shocked if the game actually comes out this year at all. I'd expect summer next year at the earliest.
