But I thought only female game journalists received death threats?
So? It's not a handheld, it's not supposed to be dragged around wherever you go.
I don't get hackers.
"I hate this company! They're so evil! Let's stand up for the little guy by totally screwing up their gaming experience!"
No it's what happens when you release your game with no build up or marketing; it has nothing to do with being on Xbox One. But enjoy seeing the world through your idiotic console war bias.
Oh god I remember reading about this game in EGM way back when I was like 15. I can't believe it's still a thing.
Stupid.
Haha, oh god the SJW's are gonna crap themselves over this.
A guy wearing a shirt is enough to cause controversy. The word is basically meaningless now, since people are so determined to get mortally offended by everything.
Thankfully, in the US we have a thing called the 1st Amendment keeping us from being sent to jail for trolling. It's barbaric to jail people for what they say, even if it is vile.
Okay, then the money I was going to spend on this game is also dropped.
Leave it to Polygon to make Doritos Pope out to be the savior of gaming.
(At least that's where I'm assuming the article is going since I refuse to give Polygon any clicks. If not, downvote to your hearts content)
Eh, I was looking forward to seeing how it would be on consoles but if it never went free to play I was never gonna buy it anyway. Slightly disappointing, companies should know better than to launch subscription MMO's when their user base wants single player RPG's.
Because "boring" isn't even remotely subjective at all, right?
That last thing the world needs is more console war BS Miyamoto. Just stick to what you're good at and make games.
No Arthas? Well, any slim interest I might have had in this just died.
Yep, Kickstarter for games seems to be dying off. I've seen a lot of quality games not even come close to getting funded.
And this is why you don't announce games until you're pretty damn sure it's only a year out from release, at most. So sick of games getting revealed that don't come out for years.
Ugh, I hate the "evil corporation" trope.
Just like they would be added "shortly after" GTA Online launched? Yeah, totally....
Eh, for what it's worth I loved Dragon Age 2 and I love that they add in so many varied romance options. It's not really the gameplay choices that really bother me; I like the streamlining over constant inventory management of all your party members. It's the fact that they seem to be buying into this "everything needs to be open world" thing and the fact that they've been praising Skyrim since it came out when it totally fails in their strongest area: the story.
You mean those benefits like receiving more abuse than women and having smug, liberals telling us we're part of some mythical "rape culture" just because we have boy bits and would rather play Grand Theft Auto than some walking simulator with an approved message? Yeah, there's no downside to being a male gamer...
