@Kirisu

"Ironic if ever it launched on PS4 and outsold life-to-date sales of the Xbox One version."

I don't know how it could. PS4 owners around here have been very vocal about how terrible the game is and how they wouldn't buy it even if it was available on their console. Hell, it wouldn't even be a graphical showpiece purchase because I've heard that Killzone, inFamous, TLOU, and even Knack all look better. So no, I don't think...

"Is the difference between 720p and 1080p only noticeable by nitpicking now?"

There are only two multiplatform games with the 1080p VS 720p disparity - COD: Ghosts and MGS:GZ. Two. Games. Everything else is either 1080p vs 900p or 900p vs 720p (or even 792p). Basing an entire generation of games thus far on those two instances is asinine and misleading.

And, to answer your... accusation I guess? I (as well as many others) can...

"It's really delusional for you guys to keep telling yourselves the Xbone is as powerful as the PS4."

Yes, but no less delusional than you and others who seem to think that the PS4 is some crazy amount more capable than the Bone. The fact is, whether games are the same resolution or different, they basically look and play the same in practice. Sure, you can zoom in on screenshots and spot the differences or see a few jaggies here or crus...

In re: Forza, racing has long been considered a sport. Hell, the first sentence of the Wikipedia entry is: "Auto racing (also known as car racing, motor racing[1] or automobile racing) is a ****sport**** involving the racing of automobiles for competition."

Also, there was no dedicated racing game category, so sport is even more appropriate.

I was hoping they'd get the new Dodge Challenger Hellcat. That thing is absolutely ridiculous.

Exactly. I understand they can make some money by putting certain Xbox exclusives onto PC as well, but they also lose potential console purchases by people on the fence. They figure "well, I can get the PC version - I don't need an Xbox." Then you lose revenue from future game purchases, as well as a chance to make the Xbox ecosystem familiar enough to them to possibly make them want to buy the next console as well. A lot of number crunching would be involved to see if it really...

Off topic, but the title reminds me of old-school Iron Chef: "Whose cuisine will reign supreme?!"

I can't get into Crimson Dragon... It just feels off for some reason. Strike Suit Zero is decent though.

"it took 3-4 years before the hate on ps3 cooled off while Sony’s only mistake was having the more expensive system and releasing games 1 year later"

Price was only one of the reasons that PS3 got a lot of flak at launch and afterwards. There was also:
- inferior/broken multiplats
- development difficulty with The Cell
- less than spectacular early exclusives
- XMB that you couldn't access in-game (at t...

@Sm00thNinja

I've played/created with Spark, and I have to say that I like the LBP series better. It's way easier to pick up and do stuff, and Sackboy controls a lot better than the characters in Spark. That's not to say that Spark doesn't have promise - the 3D aspect and AI options are top notch. But I just had a lot better of a time with LBP games from a playing/casual creating standpoint.

Florida here too and yes, we get fingerprinted for GameStop and any resale transaction (like pawn shops and such). It's (allegedly) so they can track you if your goods are stolen.

I would say that TLOU is one of the best games ever made as opposed to the absolute best. However, no game comes close to telling a story as well as it did in terms of emotional attachment, character development, pacing, and mood. That's where it is second to none.

@XtraTrstrL
I can't speak for the PS4 version except for the displeasure that I've heard from here and friends, but the X1 version was insulting. I'm not a resolution stickler, but there was no way it should have looked like it did and only have been 720p. Plus the frame drops. Uggh.

I can't speak for Sledgehammer personally, but if Infinity Ward's performance was any indication of Call of Duty utilizing next-gen hardware proficiently, then I remain skeptical.
