Not sure why you got disagrees. I specifically remember EVA telling Snake about this. She told him that FPS games were being distributed to the kids for free by Private Military Companies so they would be familiar with killing when they eventually got recruited.
This takes place before the Outer Heaven Rising, which is when Solid Snake made his debut. You play as Big Boss who is on a quest to find out whether his mentor,The Boss, is still alive or not (At least I think so from what I've read.) It is a prequel to the "main" storyline, but a sequel to MGS3 and Portable Ops.
The PipBoy in FO3 had a "quests" tab under "data". All active quests showed up there and you could see all objectives. Is that what you meant by the note log feature? (Sorry, I haven't played Oblivion.)
I never played FO3 for it's story,I played it for the gameplay and the great atmosphere.I've poured well over 100 hours into the game and if New Vegas can at least match the replayability of FO3, I'll get it day one. Though I might reconside...
This seems to be a lot more colourful that FO3. I still haven't decided whether it's a good thing or a bad thing.
I have a BC PS3, but I'd still buy some of these collections, provided I haven't played them before (KH collection and PoP collection being the main ones I want.)

I don't think Wii games should count, sine it would make it completely unfair. I know that The Conduit is a Wii game, not sure about the other 2.
That's what the guy said and that's probably why it was #25 on the list, since all versions weren't bad. I never really thought that the graphics were overly bad in that game anyways.
That is a very very long list. I never thought LBP needed a sequel, but this game has proved me wrong. It has insane amounts of new stuff!
He first appears in South America when he has that epic fight with Vamp. I think that's the part you mean since it takes place just before snake goes to Eastern Europe.
Raiden appears in South America, Shadow Moses, and Outer Haven, never the Middle East. I know it's an insignificant detail, but I felt I just had to point it out.
