Did you ever really randomly wander around in SotC. The giant barren wasteland was what gave it that feeling of solitude. It did not provide people with countless hours of fun.
His son is obviously a hardcore CoD player. Maybe he wouldn't think this about games if his son bothered to play actual good immersive games. I'm guessing his whole knowledge of the industry is from his son.

I've never played any Sly games, but I like the idea of Infamous a lot more. I'd like to see what they can do with the Infamous IP with next-gen hardware more than Sly.
Well I could see some RTSs succeeding on the PS3 with proper implementation of Move. Not that it would affect m, since I don't plan on buying Move, and I'm not the greatest fan of RTSs.
There are such things as multiplatform games, guys. New Vegas, Deus Ex 3 and Brotherhood are all coming out this year.
Nobody mentioned Uncharted 2. It's just that Cole was making that weird face through the whole video. That put the people off.
EDIT: Never mind, I saw some moron whose post was hidden comparing it to Uncharted, sorry. But the other point still stands.

I'm pretty sure there's more than 13 FF games. There's bound to be various spinoffs on the PSP, DS and other platforms. Look at the upcoming Versus; it's a FF game, but doesn't bear a number in it's name.
Most games are very lucky to reach lifetime sales of 1.8 million, much less achieve that number in one day. So no, I wouldn't say that Starcraft 2 has "weak sales"
So taking on a 5-story walking nuclear deathbot on foot and winning MULTIPLE TIMES doesn't cut it for you?

Awesome list, though I would take out Dragon Age 2 or KZ3 and replace it with TLG, but that's just me. Oh, and Deus Ex 3 looks badass as well. But you can only have so many games in a top 10 list, right? :P
I'm at the level where the Gargoyles lift you up to the top of a tower (castle?) after beating the Fool's Idol. All my equipment seems to be deteriorating at a much, much faster rate. Is it just me? Or is it the enemies or something? I am a thief and I have a mailbreaker+5, kite shield and all the standard thief armours.
Wow I can't believe they added Juanes songs to the Rock Band selection. Some people are going to have a hard time on vocals singing along to a spanish singer!

The first half was extraordinary compared to others. Can't say the same for the second half though.
Only games I'm really looking forward to are LBP2 and New Vegas. Those 2 games alone should keep me entertained for months to go if their predecessors are anything to go by. Their replayability was mind boggling.
The song "Enclosure" automatically makes a scene very, very sad, even if it isn't. It played during the deaths of Sniper Wolf, Meryl, Naomi, and a couple less significant scenes in MGS1.
