I don’t expect anything less from this series anymore. For me, it just highlights the use of narrative in the news media to market things.
Wasn’t much for the first game. Love the Warhammer franchise, not so much American football though. Doesn’t look like a very aesthetically pleasing game, either =P
I generally dislike DLC. The Fallout New Vegas stuff was a bit hit and miss in my opinion.
Loving the toilet banter... XD
Not sure how I feel about this game. When you look past all of the spectacle and gloss, it doesn’t seem to compare much to the older battlefront games. They’re also not showing much of the game beyond this Hoth level. I’ll be interested to see more at the time of release.
You’re right about the lacklustre story, especially towards the end of the game. I didn’t like the way they tried to characterise Agent 47 either. Half of the appeal was the mystery.
Blood Money was great for replaying levels though, don’t you think?
This actually sounds good. I’m glad they’re going beyond the usual ‘deathmatch’ stuff. I’ve never understood why they don’t include more PVE elements in to PVP modes.
Blood Money is definitely the best game in the series. It has aged really well too. Dishonored was a great game, and partly carried by the universe it portrayed. A lot of people enjoyed that, I think.
What’s that saying?
‘If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.’
You’ve hit the nail on the head - a lot of hype that didn’t really live up to expectation. They managed to alienate their fan base with linear game play and scare away potential new players with heavy stealth sequences. Like trying to straddle two horses and ending up straddling none.
It’s a good example of how punishing a player isn’t always the best way to go about things...
Isn’t this business approach called ‘doing an angry birds?’
Yeah, tranquilisers or forced malnutrition, I say.
So much potential for a Harry Potter RPG. I always talk about how good it would be. Jeremy Soule for the soundtrack too.
I’m surprised we didn’t regularly chow down on a slowpoke tail to be honest.
Johto Safari Zone is Illuminati confirmed.
Basically anything by Jeremy Soule. Go listen to the ‘Kuldahar Theme’ or 'Easthaven in Peace' on Youtube. Also, Shadow of the Colossus had the best music of any game in my opinion.
I think I lack the constitution required for this kind of thing.
The problem with VR is monetary, I think. You’ve got to have companies willing to take some serious risks to produce something that is actually going to be worthwhile.
Dancing emote - 10/10 would buy again.
Was all about Tomb Raider for me...
