i enjoyed Gears one,but i do find the 'on rails' bits really boring. More of the same doesn't do it for me, i was expecting a much expanded game this time round,not the same linear shooter.Still, i'm not too fussed, there's plenty of other games available on both consoles.Each to their own, as they say.

it's because the 360 and PS3 are known quantities.In that they are all the same spec,therefore devs can concentrate on maximizing their potential.For PC's, they have to set a lowest common denominator, thereby limiting what can be achieved even with PC's that are in theory at least,more powerful than either 360 or PS3.

Yeah,Winzlow, i've played the 360 demo of pure, because like i say above, i don't have a PS3 yet.I thought is was very good and fun to play, but many people seem to be disliking it -not sure why. Still, as good as it may be, it's no Wipeout HD. I take your point though.

Anyone who suggests that installing to Hdd is NOT a good idea,probably lack some technical knowledge imho.
