I think the difference is they don't technically own it they get licensed to make the games so the league can always cancel the contract and give it to someone else it so it's not considered a monopoly.

There is literally a video that is 3 hours long for Fallout 76 showing all the different type of bugs that guy was able to find. Bethesda is legendary when it comes to bugs other games can't compare. Plus if we are being honest they haven't had a great game since 2011 when Skyrim came out. Fallout 4 got rid of the dialogue choices Fallout was famous for and was more focused on shooting.

Activison Blizzard is much more than just Cod. Blizzard has Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and DIablo. Then there is Candy crush on the mobile side which is one of the biggest mobile games of all time. Activision has top games in PC, Mobile, and Console it would need to sell off some of their developers to not make Microsoft a monopoly.

The issue however is about them becoming a monopoly not how they will treat their employees. Seeing all the stuff about Activison and Blizzard treated their employees Microsoft can't do much worse outside of slave labor.

For real the latest Pokemon game was a broken mess and looked like an N64 game in some areas and they still bought it up in droves like it was crack.

Probably won't be until next gen cause AMD's ray tracing has not caught up to Nvidia and even a 4080 needs upscaling in games with heavy or full raytracing to hit 60fps. The PS5 Pro is likely to come out in 2023-2024 if it follows the same timeline as PS4 Pro which was 3 years after launch. So it's likely being built on AMD GPUs that are already out now which won't get us the performance we want in the best looking ray traced titles. 528d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Personally i don't mind 30fps for a RPG like this but the ray tracing mode just isn't that good in this for halving the fps. The shadows look a bit better in some areas but nothing to get excited about and in areas like the ocean scene the water looked better in performance mode to me.

Some people just have bad taste.

To be fair this reviewer says it's a disaster because of the bugs but says it is a great game when working so wait for them to fix it. I would prefer this over reviewers who ignore bugs and crashes and give games 9/10 because they expect devs to fix it later and don't hold them accountable to for selling a product that wasn't ready for launch.

It's a shame but the corporations will win because the casuals will buy anything from them regardless of if it's good. Look at Pokemon it was a disaster yet it broke records in sales. The problem is a lot of these people may buy games but they aren't really "gamers" they just want a distraction to pass the time and/or are addicted to certain games. The quality, value, or morality of buying certain games don't matter to them at all but to the publishers these people a...

They are at their best when they make games that are made for the East but they have stated they are going to move away from the East and focus on making games for the West because they can't make enough money of the Japanese. Now we have shitty games as a service Avengers, NFTs, and a fantasy game that they clearly tried to make for the West. But their idea of Westernizing it is just adding a talkative black girl with hip hop music because that fits the narrative other countries see when...

You didn't like the hip hop music in a fantasy setting?

For real the FTC is normally the less restrictive one and Microsoft is an American Company so they would be incentivized to let them get a monopoly. EU is normally the more restrictive one.

It says Hidetaka Miyazaki was the original director for the game but then he handed it over to the Sekiro director. I wonder if that was cause he had to work on Elden Ring or if they have another big game in development.

Backwards perk system, missing features at launch, broken audio system, still has SBMM, UI was bad at launch. The only big improvements are the maps but that's only compared to recent CoDs. Compared to older Cods like the original MW2 it pales in comparison.

@ClayRules2012 I would have to watch it back but i believe he tags along with the Elden Ring devs when they are walking up for the award and the devs didn't notice so security just thought he was one of them until he starts talking and the Elden Ring devs looked over to security confused about who this kid was.

Gotta give a shout out to my rabbi Bill Clinton tho. The kid who crashed it at the end was funny everyone was like who is this kid with and then he just says some random shit.
