You clearly missed his argument. The AAA title is based on budget not quality of game. Obviously your definition is different then the one stated in the article from 1998.
The question is if the industry today (not fanboys) has adapted a different definition than the 1998 version?
I just got mine from a local store that I used to manage and almost all of the Limited edition versions have been scratched. I saw the case and there isn't a snapping part to hold the DVD in place. There are spongy pieces holding it in. The DVD was either coming loose or spinning around causing scratches.
I got the regular version instead. Check my gamertag for proof.
They are they same technology and should work on any PS3.

I wasn't one of them. I did however play against one of them lats night. The clan was OIKL or something like that. Anyway, it has been great, but it does have to end some time. Heck, Halo 3's beta lasted about the same, but the time from its beta to release has been a long time. We won't have to wait as long for this gem.
I would rather have a title have a few hiccups here and there than not play at all. It is one of my biggest peeves with the 360. I do go back and play some old games, but most of the ones I want are not compatible at all. Then the ones that I play that are on the BC list have issues, ie Half Life 2. It has horrible frame rate issues making it unbearable at times. I am playing it until Orange comes out and then this won't be an issue with that game in-particular. Others I still can't play...

The PS3 version (demo wise) was a little behind the 360 version. I downloaded both of them and switched back and forth comparing them. They both play the same and have the same button layout. The 360 version ran a little smoother and was a little crisper. I wouldn't be disappointed buying either version, but the nod goes to the 360 version just barely. But again it is the unreal engine and the more I see it, the more I believe it was designed around the 360 and now they are trying to make...
It is 37 pages worth of parts. It looks like it would take a week to build. The end result is pretty big. I am guessing around 18 inches long by a foot wide.
I am glad to see that they farmed it out and didn't do this in house, otherwise, I would have said they could have used the resources on the game.

I haven't had a problem yet. You can sort the servers based on # of people and find an open game real fast. Granted it won't be a Sony server. They do fill up fast. Sort by name and have all the Sony servers grouped together to see what's open. They had quite a lot of servers running.
Also, you can filter where you see all the worldwide servers. Maybe others are open.
When I was on earlier toady there were 605 servers running (30-40 sony ones) If you sort by name the sony serves are all lumped together. I spent a couple minutes adding servers to my favorites before jumping in to make it faster next time.
Great game. I just have the problem of choosing between COD4 beta and warhawk. Both are equally fun.
Lair was released today. It came out a little early. My local mom and pop shop that gets games a day late (usually) is getting it tomorrow.
haven't played it. It is one of the best multiplayer games out there. It is simple to just jump in and play. As for you argument that you have to have two people to play it is bad. HELLO, it is a muliplayer ONLY game. That is not a surprise.
You say it has terrible balance, that is proof you haven't played it. I was surprised how balanced it actually is.
If they gave up on the multiplayer only negative (or lack of single player), it would have a 9.5
After playing the beta, it would matter what they gave it. It is a blast. I will be picking it up this week.
It looks great. Of course there is plenty to do to make it better. I hope they take notice how other games are doing explosions (ie GRAW2 and COD4). The end of the level would have been more spectacular with explosions similar to the games mentioned. I am not hating on KZ2. I am wishful that it will happen.
