They could have noted that the Wii was a bigger initial hit with the consumers. That makes up for any award missed.
"While these screens might not be actual in-race footage, they show off SEGA Rally's in-game engine splendidly"
So not real time but snap shots or freeze frame images.
Did you look at the link? No. It said PS3 shots. If it had said other wise it would have been listed that way. Never does it say exclusive. I know that and most people know it isn't exclusive. If you want to call someone out for "misrepresenting" exclusivity, blame IGN. That is where it came from. Get off you fanboy crack pipe and chill out. Come join me in a game of GOW or COD3 instead of complaining so much!
You keep ranting about COD3 running at 60 fps. Well, I own the game and can tell you it doesn't run at a sooth frame rate. COD2 runs better. I can't compare it to the PS3 version because I haven't played it on it yet, but that claim is old and not accurate. Do you even own the game? Maybe the PAL version runs smoother for what ever reason. The US one doesn't. I still love the game besides that.
You should show this side more often. It starts to show that you are a fan more of the games and not just the systems(ie 360).
Anyway, this is why I am a big fan of backwards compatibility. The games for PS2 and some Xbox games haven't been released. It allows us to play the good titles from last gen while waiting for new titles. This applies for all systems.
It is also impressive how good this game looks considering it is on a PS2. WOW!
from a 3rd party developer that isn't dissing a system. It's a breath of fresh air. The screens do look a lot better then the TGS shots. Should be a good game.
They need to release a bigger HDD and get rid of the core system. That would fix the issues of storage. Have the current premium unit replace the core and have the larger HDD sold with a unit (and separately) as the new premium.
how they were going to get the game with the original sound track under 50mbs. I am glad that MS will make exceptions. Eventually, they might change the rule and we could potentially have larger, better games.
is 720p. Why would the US release be any different? It was obvious to begin with. The reps they interviewed didn't seem to be the sharpest. The lady that I watched say this didn't look like she knew how to respond other then the scripted responses. They probably think everything is running at 60fps and 1080p. Very misinformed people. then again, this is an electronics show and not a gaming show. Sony sent out there "other" staff to cover this instead of the normal guys.
Definitely an improvement from the games out there. The cross-com improvements look excellent. I will have to trade in the first one and get this when it comes out in March.
Like Mart said, those air strikes are impressive.
I wonder if it will just be part of the photo slide show or be implemented in a game some how?
You know the limit is on xbox live arcade games not demo down loads.
Anyway, this is why they should have never released the core unit and had the HDD in all systems. Despite what anyone says, the core does not give you the FULL experience of the 360.
I never said that having the need to replace my 360 was a good thing. The fact they did it without any hassle is the good thing.
I have posted before on how pissed I was that the machines broke broke, but my current 360 is running like a champ without any complaints. So, I am a satisfied customer right now.
Mart, you are right about the crap with the PS2 lens. That lawsuit needed to happen so that now we can have better customer service. They also upped the st...
Those stories that were posted to this article were crazy. I have dealt with MS twice with no problems. They replaced my 360 twice. Both times I talked to someone who spoke good English and was very helpful. One was a lady and she recognized the music from animal crossing that my wife was playing in the background. We started talking about a GC game while troubleshooting the 360. I thought that was very ironic. So, I have no complaints about their customer service.
MS has been creating and distributing dev tools for some time now. Its nice to see Sony doing this for 3rd party companies. Definitely good news.
I refuse to buy bundled machines unless they come with what I was already going to buy. That usually never happens.
The prices are a sale not a price drop. They had all these games at Target for 39.99 for both the 360 and PS3(not just one system). Heck, Gears was on sale for 39 also. If I didn't already have it, I would have picked up a copy. They also had Zelda for Wii/GC on sale for the same price.
As for hardware, Amazon had a batch of PS3s and Wiis up this morning. The Wii sold out immediately and the 60 gig sold out an hour ago. The 20 gig is still up for grabs., I would have snagge...
?
Was the game already announced or not?
If it hadn't been announced yet then nobody would miss it.
