Sony never has a plan, and in my opinion, they are a complete mess. This is a corporation that you can not trust.
- They release the PS Vita, and give almost no first party support outside of a handful of games. - They release PS Vita TV an offer little to no support or content for it. - They release PlayStation Mobile, and then shut it down less than 2 years later. - they come out with the "PlayStation Certified' monicker for phones that...

The Xbox One S had a great reception, just look at some of the tech reviews and the fact that Xbox One S has beat the PS4 in the U.S. two months in a row.
PS4 Pro sales are not trouncing anything. They haven't sold or shipped any PS4 Pro consoles yet, since it will be launched in November. You're a fantastic fiction writer!
Microsoft is set to blow the doors off of the PS4 Pro. Sony has shown all their cards, and the result was a mediocre reception. Expect a lot of excitement during the actual reveal of the hardware for Scorpio.
- Sony doesn't allow mods: Sony fan says "that's ok, mods suck anyway" - No 4K Blu-ray player for PS4 Pro: Sony fan says "that's ok, 4K Blu-rays suck anyway" - Only 1TB hard drive in PS4 Pro: Sony fan "that's ok, hard drives with more memory suck anyway" - No Backwards Compatibility for PS4: Sony fan "that's ok, old games suck anyway" - PS4 Pro doesn't really do Native 4K: Sony fan: "that&...
the gap is similar to PS4 vs XBone that you downplayed to death, but now the Scorpio is a new generation just because of 30% more? LOL "
The difference this time around is that the Xbox Scorpio will have enough power to push it fully into native 4K gaming. When Xbox One and PS4 released, neither played game at 1080p 100% of the time, and the graphical differences were marginal most of the time. Ps4 Pro brings P...
The Pro was all talk and came out to be a disappointment, since it's not a true 4K system. Microsoft is in the drivers seat here. The only company that can spoil an Xbox resurgence, is Microsoft themselves, and with Phil Spencer at the helm, I don't think that will happen. It's good times ahead for Xbox fans.
Everything in your comment is just dumb. I'd respond by going through everything, but the things that fans of the PS4 are writing just don't make any sense. All I will say is that time will tell, and you have it backwards, Microsoft put Sony in a bad spot. Sony clearly reduced the specifications of the PS4 Pro so that it could compete with Xbox One S(which is also a 4K system).
They probably removed the 4K Blu-ray drive at the last minut...
Resolutions like 1440p, which is what many new games will render at natively don't matter, because TVs cannot display that resolution. But yes, Xbox One S upscales it's games to 4K, just like PS4 Pro does, just with less powerful hardware.
Exactly! You know that people are struggling to justify the PS4 Pro's lack of native 4K capability and lack of a 4K blu-ray drive when they start being stupid.
New movies will be native 4K, while older movies that were made for 1080p will be upscaled by studios, and put on 4K discs. They did this with 480p movies on DVD, and upscaled them on Blu-ray to 1080p, and today all new movies are 1080p. This happens everytime there's a format change over.
I agree that Uncharted and Infamous are the best first party games that Sony has on PS4, without a doubt, but you missed the point regarding the 'maintaining' part of my comment. Uncharted is finished, they have no plans to make another Uncharted game. I was a big fan of both Uncharted and Infamous on my PS3, and got my platinum trophies for UC 1&2 and Infamous 1&2. I didn't care for UC3 all that much. R&C is big for Sony, and has been a solid series.

"Forget 4K Blu-ray, as a die-hard PC gamer I'm hugely impressed by the PS4 Pro"
If you were actually a die-hard PC gamer, you wouldn't be impressed by PS4 Pro, total nonsense....

"Why not just build a PC now with much better specs and play the Xbox Exclusive on it?"
Because the cost of building a PC is so much higher. I don't understand why people can't get this situation through their thick skulls!
@ XiKurapikaKurta
Whatever makes you feel better! You're pretending that the Pro is something that it's not.

PS4 Pro isn't a true 4K system, so it's just fine releasing this November.

I actually just beat Red Dead Redemption exclusively on Xbox One backwards compatibility. Great game!
Some older games which are less demanding could be native 4K and possibly some indie games, but new triple A games will not be.

Now that's backwards compatibility ;)
@ Darthv72
Actually there are 4 black marks:
- no 4K Blu-ray player
- no native 4K gaming (upscales to 4K)
- only a 1TB hard drive
- big and ugly looking
