I love the ignorance of PlayStation fans! PS4 Sony is a completely different animal than PS3 & PS2 Sony. Take a look at all of the first party studios they have shut down over the last 10 years (Zipper Interactive, 989 Studios, Incognito Entertainment, BigBig Studios, Evolution Studios, and Studio Liverpool). The rate of studio closures works out to one closure every 2 years. Mark my words when I say that either Sony San Diego or Media Molecule is next. Look at how they've let their o...

"You can download a bigger list of games and an emulator at no cost at all, why pay £50?"
Because it isn't just about the games, it's also about the nostalgia for the hardware. Beside, you get 30 games, so it's pretty good value for non-pirates.
True 4K on consoles doesn't start until the Scorpio releases. Checkerboard rendering is a poor man's way of trying to achieve 4K. The release of Scorpio will be glorious!

I want one of those Samsung 4K TVs with HDR 10 and Quantum Dot technology. Other 4K TVs don't even compare to TVs with Quantum Dot tech, but you're looking at around $3000.00 (CDN) for one of these TVs.
Nintendo would have much better success releasing retro mini consoles like the NES mini, rather than releasing a console that would be jack of all trade, but master of none. I predict that the Switch will be more successful than the WiiU, but it will be a 20 million seller at most.
Sony better start to worry, while they do have a lead in current gen hardware sales, Microsoft's grand plan with the play anywhere program, the Windows 10 Xbox App, backwards compatibility on Xbox consoles, and the upcoming worlds most powerful console(with a 4K bluray player), are much better positioned to succeed over the long term over Sony. Microsoft is beyond the blueprint stage, and is steadily executing a brilliant way forward into the future.
The Switch has yet to prove itself on the market, so I wouldn't get too excited yet. I still don't understand who this console is for. They're advertising it towards adults, but I don't know one adult who games on the go, especially with large console quality games.
As it stands, the Switch is going to be the jack of all trades, but master of none. After a hard days work, when I come home and turn on my console, I want the best experience possible, which wil...
I agree, those Sony fanboys have no common sense, trying to defend the indefensible here on N4G, and are completely out of control most of the time. The PS4 Pro is hardware that makes compromises because it has to, and this will become even more apparent once some of the newer games start to come out, which require even more resources.
I went out to a few stores later in the morning after release, and there was no sign that these things were ever in stock. There was absolutely no shelf space dedicated for the NES Mini, in Walmart, Toys R Us, EB Games or The Source, and I'm pretty sure it was probably the same story in Best Buy.
I doubt that there were any stores that had more than 30 units available this morning. What an absolutely horrible roll-out for this product! Since I wasn't able to get my...

With Brexit, and now a Trump presidency, lets hope that this globalist takeover has been put into the trash bin of history once and for all!

"The new Xbox is in the right place at the wrong time"
And this is why it has out-sold the PS4 in the USA for the 4th straight month in a row.......
