CoD4 was the last pinnacle of the series, but when I bought MW2, I realized it was going the same direction as other hit Activision franchises like Tony Hawks Pro Skater and Guitar Hero. The drop in sales is a sign, it's getting stale with the majority finally and it's only a matter of time before it fades away like THPS and GH.
I know there will always be haters that'll downvote a good player, but at the same time I'm just tired of having to mute so many players, from the crier that complains everytime they die to the person that constantly has background ambient noise in their mic.
Just wish there was a way to just segregate them so they can play with their kind while the rest of us can enjoy the game. A dream really, not going to get my hopes up.
We need a way to filter out the mature people from the kids, I liked the way Xbox Live did it with the Star Ratings system initial but it never worked as intended.
There should be a karma points system where everyone starts at zero, if someone keeps whining and complaining to others, people can dock a point from them while they mute them out. If a player is helpful and decent to talk with, you can give them a point and their score moves up. Those that do neither will be igno...

They stripped the wifi part which probably costs less than $5 in bulk, costly decision that probably doomed this before it even releases.
It became a thing when they realized they could fix the problems with patches. Before then, if you released a game and something was broken, it stayed broken.

Well I know a few people who've been playing CoD the past couple years, I loved their reaction to this game: "So what's new?" "What's different" to which I reply "Your just starting to notice that now?"
or they can simply put very little effort into changing the game other than maps, textures, and story and then to top it off, tell people to pre-order for an exclusive DLC, advertise the DLC as 24/7 and take it away after 6 days.
Yes, so we can enjoy the benefits of yearly releases that would be much smaller in scale, reusing the same assets from the previous games, with virtually no upgrade in gameplay or graphics and half arsed DLCs for $15 every few months, definitely looking forward to it.....
Thank god these "predictions" are just as solid as Patcher's reputation.
