@Trago1337 a few tips:
1 - Build on your budget, if it takes more than a year to pay off (or save up for), your spending too much.
2 - Don't get the most expensive parts for a few fps, go for the best bang for your buck, eventually parts for half the price will outperform whatever you have in 2-3 years.
3 - Don't wait, but don't rush either, if your patient, you can shop around for components when they're on sale and build a rig for re...
Looks like a good time to finally score that Battlefield DLC I refused to buy at full price.
Ill stick to Left 4 Dead, Dead Island, or Dead Rising for my zombie fix, sucks that a game with the "Walking Dead" brand happens to be one of the worst zombie game ever made.
Anyone that rated simcity higher than a 60% score is a hack. A true simcity fan knows this game is broken to the core on top of all the other reasons to hate this game (online DRM, 1/6th city sizes, garbage EA servers)
If only gamers understood economics, I searched the front page of comments and not one hit on the word "INFLATION". To put in perspective, a game that released for $60 in 2000 would now cost $80. Spending $60 in 2000 is the equivalent of spending $45 in 2013.
TL;DR: your money is less valuable now then it was a decade ago. Thus games at $60 are actually cheaper then they've ever been.
player count > graphics, it doesn't need to be the best looking game, it just needs what makes battlefield great: gigantic maps and enough players to fill em.
Remember when Killzone was first shown off for PS3.....
hmm, pay to play online or pay to get a bunch of games monthly, which one sounds more greedy...
The PC version is all but guaranteed with next gen consoles being identical in hardware to PCs. Gone are the days where a game developed on a console would require extensive re-coding to port to PC and visa versa.
being interested in iPhone is the same as CoD, you'll get last year's product with some tweaks and a new name.
@gta2800
That's what I'm worried about, they may have gotten so lazy that all they'll do is up the textures and add some polygons to the old models.
Or they might actually give us that leap that they did with CoD4 and everyone will praise it. Then they'll take it and re-release it for another 5-6 years.
IW has been dead since MW2, less than 50% of the original team is still there and look at how good they did with MW3. Activision should just hand the reigns to Bungie after they finish destiny.
Maybe they'll finally just release it on monday by 7pm since we already know that retailers have it by then.
edit: Just sayin, why bother with midnight releases if the store can sell it before regular closing time. saves money for the stores, headache for employees and we get to play our games hours earlier than waiting till midnight. No need to call off work or ditch school because you want to play your favorite videogame at 1am.
great, by the time it releases, i'll have a heart attack from playing it...
this double xp weekend would've gone better with the release than before.....
I was honestly was hoping for blizzards next mmo...
$60 bucks, day one price
if the game sucks and doesn't sell, drop it by $10 a week until it does sell.
As a PC gamer, I already know that the next gen consoles will kill for performance per dollar for at least a few years, it's not the first time it's happened. About the only time I choose consoles over PCs is the first couple years, after that it gets more affordable to play better quality graphics on a computer.
It just sucks that almost every must have title will eventually be bought out by EA, Activision, or UBI. Those companies know how to take a good thing and choke the life out of it for a buck.
