anyway gears 2 will no doubt be huge, but i think it will have a lot more competition than the first one did

if you just stare at the screen it seems like an eternity..but in two weeks it wont even matter that you spent 20 minutes installing a game..people are really just impatient these days

the best west rpg i love is oblivion hands down, i just find jrpgs better, but i got dmc4 and i say that its lived up, gotta say i had some doubts but im glad they were wrong

installs arent that bad people dont use up 60/80 gigs of save data/demos/videos anyway..at least i dont
well i guess since you found out that ps3 outsold 360 in 2007 you lost one of your attacks on the ps3 which leaves you with software sales (which im guessing you will lose that point to) and 22 minute install times and losing hard drive space
which in fact if your not gonna play the game when your done you can delete it, in fact where uncharted has no load times and doesn't need to install
so it just depends on the game, if 360's had standard hdd they would do the sa...
people do forget that 360 had hardly any games till gears came out..mayb e pdz, and dead rising but you never heard "360 has no games", in ps3's first year with "no games" it outsold 360 with 3 goty contenders and the press just slapping ps3 all over the place
the one year advantage did really help 360 (it didnt help for dreamcast, but there were more reasons) so i dont think it will happen to 360

they would have to cut the price when gears 2 comes out, thats the game that could keep people interested this year maybe too human could create interest too
but i hope developers now (ahem square enix) would stop saying stuff like "ps3 sales are disappointing and worrying" or something like that..every console is just fine
well infinity ward isnt doing cod5 i think the cod3 team is doing cod 5, so why there trying to get the wwII thing right the sales will slump, its gonna be pretty much an off year for the call of duty series..and infinity ward will make call of duty 6(i hope by that time theyll just get rid of the numbers or call it call of duty modern warfare 2)and make it freakin amazing
true, i can recall correctly resident evil 2 was delayed for about a year, they completely redid the game because it wasnt fun enough, on one hand i dont mind delays because they happen its part of the industry, on the other hand i hate waiting because basically its not a given your gonna be here tommorow, so you wanna play these games before the world goes into an ice age or gets hit by an asteroid (i know its stupid mixing gaming with real life but you catch my drift)
they better be adding virtual reality or something where things jump out of the screen, maybe a more of a multiplayer revamp other than graphics who knows but this game is def. gonna get lost amongst the other games coming out overall this year, unless they can get it out during march before the storm begins

as much as i want this game and knowing the amount of time ill probably be spending with the multiplayer, i hope this doesn't turn out to be the next daikatana(sp?) and be the laughing stock of the game industry

gears 2 will be big, but nobody can say it will "kill" another system cause if halo 3 didnt... then i dont think this can
