No WONDER the X patch won't be ready in 2017. It seems nobody knows that they are doing when it comes to this unfinished game. Maybe things would go a lot smoother if the devs didn't move onto other projects too.
Generations wasn't good. It's just the nostalgic moments in it that put a smile on your face. The second you get to that garbage Act II on Green Hill and play as modern Sonic, you can just turn it off lol.

Sonic Adventure is as awkward as any other 3D Sonic game with atrocious cringe music too. Take off the nostalgic goggles. Generations was crap too. It's great if you love playing as Classic Sonic who is too small for levels. He is not supposed to be the same size as the Lady Bug bank for example but in that mess, he sure is.
Should Sega listen when we tell them to stop making 3D Sonic games since Sonic 3D Blast over 20 years ago? Because clearly they aren't listening. But Sonic Mania's success has blown their minds now.
Would love to Sony getting somebody to do some nice remakes of their old IPs like Medievil. Nothing too insanely advanced though that would lose the art style. Something similar to the way Crash was handled.
@Deep-throat On Xbone they certainly do. Horizon Zero Dawn struggled to sell? And yet probably sold more than Sea of Thieves and Crackdown 3 will manage to scrape together in 2018.
The animations in The Getaway on PS2 today still put the animations, in what we have seen, of Crackdown 3 to shame.

Dammit, you made me think that The Getaway was getting a PS2 PS4 HD release.
And yet this rule still applies to Xbone that hardly ever makes use of 2006 1080p TV, something that is even more abysmal than it was 4 years ago.
And hey author, at least PS4 Pro isn't 100 quid MORE expensive than XboneX like the Xbone was over PS4.
And I know that HD TVs were out before this it it wasn't until 2006 that they properly started releasing "Full HD" sets and all early adopters were screwed over. We are still at that stage with 4K TV...
@aconnellan They don't have to talk about it. The focus of TV was the downfall of Quantum Break 3 years after Xbone's reveal. A TV port melted into your standard Xbone motherboard is still the thing that took away from the console's priority of power earlier in the gen too, which has hurt Xbone this entire gen.
They may not talk about it but the scars are still there if you want to ignore them or not.

@Foxtrot Yep, yep and yep. And all FallenAngel and others have to ask themselves is, is it as good as FFVIII? FFIV? FFVI? FFIX? FFVII? Is FFXV even 1/10th as good as any of those games or memorable?
THOSE were all "amazing" games. FFXV is garbage by comparison and yet took 5 times the time to make than any of those other hundred hour plus FF masterpiece games I just mentioned.

The XboneX version runs higher than native 4K? And the no HDR support will look better on the XboneX over the PS4 Pro's no HDR support? Its the "best", what a win, what a game/life changer.
Yep they went and did it. They changed FF for me forever. They did an EA job of FF i.e. they made it 100% easily avoidable for me. Good job Square.
Luckily this was easily evident since its E3 2013 re-reveal. It didn't get me hyped and not one showing of the game since and even videos of it "finished" has compelled me to touch it today.
