Yo SimpleSave. I'm sorry.
After watching more footage of this game it looks embarrassingly terrible and I take back everything I said.
I thought this was just getting review bombed for server issues and exaggerated to death but nah this is trash and shouldn't have been released lol. My bad
Oh come on. I guarantee you with 100% certainty that the developers who worked on this game didn't purposely launch it with only a couple servers. Aspyr are a great team of developers doing relatively niche work. They were HUGE for the mac gaming scene back when that was attempting to take off. The vast majority of their recent ports run like an absolute dream and bring new life to older games. Stubbs The Zombie was a pleasant surprise. They have a bunch of original single player IPs the...
Interesting observation actually. It must have to wait for every player's game to load, and with some people playing on mechanical drives and portables running on MicroSDs I suppose you'd have to match the lowest common denominator. Makes sense that a party of all PS5 SSDs would connect everybody quicker
This generation is easily the least fun and least interesting one we've had in my 30 years of life and it blows my mind that people spend a hundred dollars on these heartless commercialized corporate wallet-drains.
This is why I've very much stopped buying new AAA releases and am going back and replaying PS3 and 360 games at 4K in an emulator. So many hundreds of games that are so much better than any of this. People seem to forget it wasn't that long ago when g...
Silverhawk: "the switch was made 4 years after the ps4 and xbox one. It doesn't matter that the switch is a handheld"
What? Yes it does. How do you have more agrees than disagrees? You expected a small inexpensive 2017 Tegra in a Nintendo handheld console with a heavy focus on battery life to be as powerful as a PS4 home console that's powered by a wall and plugged into a large TV? No offence man but that's psychotic. I doubt even the Switch 2 will be ...
I dont think it can be considered "taking players away" when Sony makes the money no matter where you buy it - albeit with a 30% cut on PC.
Even if exclusives stopped existing (which likely won't happen) a console is still much more appealing to an enormous market for the subsidized console price, ease of use, and feature-sets.
Personally i'm all PC this gen but there are moments where I really wish I kept my PS5 even for multi-plats.
I was absolutely hyped for this game but the digital only on consoles made me choose to play it on PC. I wasn't that devastated but then it was Epic exclusive. As a result I completely lost interest. Low hopes but fingers crossed a Steam release happens in the future.
A digital-only technical masterpiece really should be played on PC imo so the Epic thing is such a kick in the ____
It blows my mind that this wasn't released on PC too for a wider player base. This is going to be dead extremely soon sadly.
Nah not just some guy in a podcast, it all came out of the FTC leaks from the Activision court case, including renders of the new Series X digital only among other things. As with any leaks, take it with a grain of salt of course but it's highly likely that they're true

Literally tho.
XBox Handheld already leaked and seems super likely to be real
Neuralink successfully completed human trials last week for a direct brain to device connection so I'd maybe give that another year or so.
If you play nothing but clicker games you'll be able to continue playing forever even after you die IRL though you wont be able to increase your idle clicks. Wooo Its the future!
They didn't even say anything. I don't even know why they replied. This guy messaged them asking for a statement about the game to write this specific article and all they said was:
"PETA has already heard from many Palworld fans who have no interest in eating ‘Pals’ and want a vegan guide created for the game.
It’s ‘Veganuary’ after all, and gamers want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside."
The hell...
As somebody who plays on only PC, it would just be really nice to be able to play with my Playstation and XBox fans together lol.
I do think SkyGazer is either just trollin or is 16 years old or both though so i'll stop feeding
@RedDevils: You wont forever. Take a look over at Nintendo for an example.
Or take a look at all the Stadia exclusives that are now lost to time.
Or PT.
Or Motorstorm Arctic Edge on PSP when the Vita was hacked.
Or all those Sony movies and TV shows that were pulled from everybody's library.
Or all those single player Ubisoft PC games that required a server connection to play that are now dead and unplayable without piracy.
E...
Never understood why anybody would enjoy a massive group of people being unable to play a game just because of a battle between trashy multi-billion dollar companies that want your subscription money. Exclusives are so lame this gen when both machines are practically identical in architecture and specs and Microsoft isn't even competing on a console-level. Wish everything was just on everything for everyone and I do think that time is coming
I've played every game up to this Kiryu finale and I cant explain how hyped I am for this game. I have every game physically and digitally, as well as imports n spinoffs but man... this is hard.
Gaming monetization has become so annoying, and the last thing I want to do it buy something that supports *this* in a single player game. This is actually just entirely insane.
RGG may unfortunately get a pass for this but I hate it. Boooo RGG
Ah Justin brother - casting aside games just because they're 7 hours long is so depressing. This generation of gamers seems to require a constant 100 hour grind with multiplayer. The number of absolutely fantastic 5-10 hour story-based games we got in all the other generations is somehow just forgotten and ignored now, or seen as a bad thing. I think this logic is why I barely care about any games this generation. If Hi-Fi Rush wasn't on Gamepass - would it not worth $50? Give me an a...
Wait. You buy a console directly from them, then you willingly pay a subscription to do something as simple as online multiplayer in 2024, then probably pay even more monthly for Gamepass, and they start throwing full screen ads at you... and you're still not only defending it, but also calling people entitled for being annoyed at it? Damn. I really hope you don't ever end up in an abusive relationship - legit you'd never get out of it.
Bad comparison honestly.
I primarily play on PC this gen for all the obvious reasons but in the past, I only bought console games physically.
I'm comfortable buying digital on PC because
1- I fully trust Valve to allow me to have access to my games for the rest of my life. They've never taken any digital content away from me.
2- I don't trust Sony or Nintendo to have access to my games for the rest of my life. They have taken digital c...
As much as I only buy physical discs on consoles, physical sales of XBox games are not something Microsoft cares about this gen. That massive leak they suffered a while back shows their next console being digital only. They're HEAVILY focused on only Gamepass this gen. The XBox section in every store worldwide has shrunken to be almost non-existent, and to top it off I cant think of a single game collector I watch on Youtube that collects XBox discs.
If there was a PS5 ...
Though it's unfortunate, the vast majority of studios have switched to UE5 (including for HellBlade 2).
You aren't going to see literally any UE5 games run at 60fps on these consoles if UE5's new features are being used.
These inexpensive gaming boxes are over 4 years old, which is longer than most people would even keep a GPU. Buy a PC and a 40-series GPU if you want games to look this good at 60 - otherwise, keep playing games without Lumen, RTAO, RT reflection...
