Probably some kind of business cover up though not entirely untrue. Discovery expected this to be an easier than thought merger due to them having experience having done this in the past several times (and quite well), but they didn't realise how little they understood of the film industry and the amount of IP at this level.
This should affect what films and animation will be made going forward but gaming is a seperate division.

It's nice to know then the announcement to release will be short for 2023 then. How long can Zelda wait though?
Perhaps September?

As someone who lives in Japan, I can tell you there is no advertising, no word of mouth amongst any of the gamer friendship groups, and if there's any in store advertising at any of the main electronic or games stores - I'm yet to see it.
Japanese simply just don't care for it. The console market here seems happy without it.
But if S became more available in Japan recently - Sony was well aware. There is still massive demand for the PS5 here and the stock became...

I can never see any Japanese game company being owned by Microsoft - Japanese pride is just too strong, and even if they did - they would require open releasing in Japan for Sony and Nintendo.
It's easier to buy a fax machine in Japan than an Xbox and this isn't even an exaggeration.

As long as it's running on that god-awful outdated engine then it's gonna be a disappointment regardless.
They have Microsoft money now - move on! it's 2022 ffs.

Considering Atlas are pretty good with these surveys, I can see these coming fairly soon. I'd imagine they wont be full blown remakes like demon's souls but more a remaster/remake hybrid like JoJo.

Probably to make money with DLC.

For a company that loves handholding with their games, it's a surprise they don't have achievements/trophies, the softest handholding of all (though, not always).

A massive bunch is to do with Japanese values/mentality and law - but Nintendo is also known to be hella strict and rigid even for a Japanese company so they won't be budging anytime soon.

Housing is a different thing because in many countries it's the system that will stop them from buying a house. They won't be given a home loan but the reality is paying off a loan is actually cheaper than renting (long term) in most cases.

Gotta be up there as one of the top 5 most underrated from that generation. Extremely Fantastic game thats sadly dead in the water due the it's creator being a nonce. Nintendo should have gone with the spiritual sequel that popped up years ago but now I feel they are perhaps the wrong platform for it - thought I'm all for being proven wrong.

I'm going to assume most people are American here... go out into other parts of the west/Europe and the overwhelming majority of people are pro abortion - which I'd assume is why Sony is quite comfortable with doing this - they would know their studios well enough.
It'a just one of those weird topics like health systems and guns where the USA has it's own particular outdated culture that contrasts the image America has for themselves or in the world. I think because o...

It'll be timed exclusive only, no need to stress.

I'd be surprised if this doesn't happen, to be honest. Village was always going to have PSVR support thanks to how well 7 did - so development wise this should be somewhere in the cards due to being on the same engine.

Putting typical AAA games on a service at launch will kill any income for the company that made it, so unless it can be massively subsidised then it's not what the future of gaming needs or wants.
I get it's essentially free for the gamer - but this is extremely short sighted and not what gamers should support if they keep wanting high quality games in the future.

He's not working with Microsoft on anything. His office is right next to Sony Japan and they are basically bankrolling his entire company - he's basically unofficially Playstation Studios (and has even hinted so). Granted he wants his independence so never say never - but he's comfy for now.

The game actually plays quite differently to any previous asymmetrical game which is what's keeping the gameplay quite fresh - and should give it some legs. Also Evil Dead is made by a different studio to F13 and Predator.

There's a lot of discussion online about this mode needing checkpoints or to be made easier but in reality this is the real tutorial mode - once you've got the learning curve of the mission it's actually not too difficult. But it takes paying attention to what the game is making available for you to do in each mission.
People are too busy trying to play this mode like Dynasty Warriors instead of using their head a little bit and making it easier for themselves.

What this game is doing for asymmetrical multi is a big deal. Unlike Dbd Or F13 this game really requires teamwork and focus - each match is really anyones to take. For the most part the game is incredibly balanced (bar some character specials but it is only just out of it's first weekend) - and each character or demon really have something different to play.
The attention to detail is really great.
OF course what is limiting is by design sadly - how long can a game of ...
