***not difficult to be offensive either
dumb comment ***
You prove both of those statements in your comment.
Listen here you, that's not how this is supposed to work. You choose a side and you defend it. None of this little "what if there's more than one good game out there" nonsense.
Because you were ignorant isn't an excuse as to why it couldn't be offensive. I don't know a lot about what is or isn't offensive in most countries, but when they tell me it is... I stop being offensive. It's not difficult to not be offensive.
If only we could all aim to be insensitive to others.
I agree that every corporation is part of the problem, but bit perhaps in the future have more of an argument than a whatsboutism? It makes it sound like your only issue is that people are complaining about Microsoft.
I looked it up for you https://en.m.wiktionary.org...
I only think they would be seen as an insensitive developer if they were informed of its implications and didn't remove it. I don't think it's a bad thing to not want to have an unintentional message in your game.
Oh, hey, I agree with you that IGN and other journalists are dumb. Not disagreement there. But, I think for a game going out to millions of people across the world? It's not something they want associated with them. It's just horrific PR.
I can't believe they're censoring this game on day 1. Games just aren't the same.
/s in case it's needed. I'm fine with them making these changes that they might not have known is culturally insensitive to some people in the big ole world. But that's just me.
Hard R is typically a reference to the N-word with the hard r at the end.
I'm chuckling over here. It's fine, I'm your Huckleberry for irate blame game.
I mean, you could submit all the missing 9/10 and 10/10 reviews if you wanted.

Just to note, the _only_ VG articles that get 'put' anywhere are reviews (auto-approved on submission) and the game deal stuff (same as reviews, maybe one every few days on average, though can vary). All the Helldivers articles are approved by and influenced solely by N4G users. No one else. I'll leave you to your opinion on why they write what they write.
@Tacoboto That's a duplicate story that was deleted by the author for being a duplicate story. You're complaining that a community member removed their own submission because this one existed on the home page.
***Reposting my deleted comment (thanks Mods!): ***
I don't know what this is about. Just FYI, we can't delete comments, only mark as inappropriate/spam.
***shoddy questionable reviews like this from its owner are a sign of things to come that are only for the worse. ***
I think you're putting way too much importance on one person's opinion. Let alone next week you might praise them for doing something with which you agr...
Journalists writing articles to feed into the 24/7 news machine of getting ad revenue doesn't equate into public opinion about the quality or desire for more games.
I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur again and the Fate mode reminder every time my fate bar is full is extremely annoying and takes up so much space on the screen.
You are not like a very good portion of gamers who are influenced by FOMO (fear of missing out).
It helps. But, as an individual, I still have my own opinion. I do wish conflict didn't sell as well as it does.
