I feel they want to do it 'right' the first time and not waste time 'learning' what is right on their own. Not really completionists so much as they give up if they fail too often. I can't play fighting games with them because they hate having to learn, which saddens me because they're not bad at games, just want the best result with least amount of effort.
I feel weird just now learning about this game. But, I mean, looking at the trailer, what did they expect coming to the table with a game that looks like 100 other games that have over 5m downloads on Android alone already? And why waste Hollywood figure on a GaaS product for mobile? That's what you do for skins, not for the core game.

I would agree with this. I also find Spider-Man 2 on PS2 to be a bigger influence on movement than Sunset Overdrive.
Look, am I a fan of games going more places? Absolutely. Am I a fan of this game or think others would get a ton of enjoyment out of it? No. But, you know what, if it's your thing, it's your thing. I got my games that suck. Just, hard to be happy that Xbox folk are getting this and maybe not something better.

This is about the industry and bad journalism. I don't see where I praised one console over another, just specified how an attempt to make them all appear to have the same goals is wrong and this type of journalism only helps to confuse consumers and goals within the industry.
