Tried out the Vita today at Vita Social Club. Got to say, a lot lighter than I thought and the screen is gorgeous. Can't wait to get my hand on my Vita and play some HSG.
Good job on your sources. The 16gb Vita card does not cost 124. Some third party, NOT AMAZON, is selling it for that price. The normal price for a 16gb is $60.

Can't wait for the Vita. Preorder the 3G for $240. HSG already on it's way.
Nice, not really a fan of One Piece or Dynasty Warrior games but the game does look fun.
It's cheaper on Newegg and Amazon. It should come with the online pass since it's new. Wouldn't make sense to sell a new game without it.
Anyway, I'll end up getting my copy of HSG before my Vita arrives. So I'm good.
Thank you. I hate those multiplayer achievements especially those rank based achievements.
But you've also have to look at Class/Brand. Imagine all the articles we'll have about Vita DD games being too slow or games not saving properly.
A decent brand 32 GB with good reviews will run around $40-$50. Yes, it's about 100% increase to make it sound more extreme.
While I can see how people are turn off by the price initially but thinking back to my PSP at launch, the pricing structure then and now hasn't changed. In about a year, the pr...
I honestly don't care if the media or mass think their iPhone games are good enough because at the end of the day, no matter how hard you convince those folks, they just won't care for the Vita or the 3DS. They don't understand what it means to game as more than just a 5 minute time killer.
Also, I don't know why some of these sites try so hard to convince gamers that these smartphone games are adequate because they are not. Any more dedicated gamer will want ...
Why is this news? Amazon had that placeholder date for a long time now.
Not only that, there has been a lot of conflicting reports but most of them indicates a close to launch date release.
Getting the 3G since the pricing is not that far off from the WiFi because of the bundle. I won't be using the 3G but the option is nice and the GPS is built in for the 3G model oppose to the WiFi.
Thanks, in that case, I might get it depending on how well the physics and everything turns out.
Looks great. Wish I had enough disposable income to built a rig for this.
I completely agree with you. Even if it is a symphony based on music from a game series. It's still a symphony nevertheless so proper etiquette for a symphony concert would apply.
Because GTA3 on the 4S is clearly a powerhouse...
If the 4S even try to run anything that the Vita can output or as beautiful as Gravity Rush, the iPhone won't last.
I was never a fan of used games and never bought used games. I have always waited out for the bargain bin. So my collection can be split easily into 2 categories - Day 1 buy, and dirt cheap bargain bin.
The only issue I have is the fact that lending out games/borrowing game becomes impossible or a hassle.
Same here. Sazh was the only one that actually had a story that interest me.
There are only 2 ways to compare fairly. Everything at lowest/off on wireless/bluetooth/extra feature or everything max with all features on.
This is a case of everything (a power user) on so it's only fair to have the 3D on. It takes far too long to do a test with lowest setting which is why tests tend to be on highest setting.
It's free. If it paid DLC, then I can see a complaint but it's not.
It's not that simple. The Japan game prices are normally higher than the US prices by $20-$40 dollars. The PSVita is priced about $50 more than what the US will be price at.
Don't know how old you are but with enough experience in gaming, you'll know the whole tablet/smartphone gaming cannot replace or replicate the experience you get from true handheld/console gaming. It's day and night.
I grew up with handhelds as many gamers in their 20s+. There is something special about handheld gaming, it's a social experience. I remember Pokemon Red/Blue, and how all my friends and I just gather to chat and play together. Battle and trade. ...
