Yeah. I'm pretty sure Cry-Engine 3 is just a Cry-Engine 2 optimized for consoles.

Pre-made computers are absurdly overpriced and are most likely why many people have the misconception that you need to throw down 2k on a computer to play anything decent.

Could you tell me exactly what is improved about the Crysis port? It's an admirable port and is one of the best looking upcoming console games but it's certainly not up to Crysis PC on the highest settings.

Does it look nearly as good as it does in the PC screenshot you linked to? No. They had to make compromises, but for what it is it's an admirable effort and one of the better looking games on consoles.

The color difference is because it's a different time of day in each of the photos.
The PC version seems to be at dusk, while the console appears to be the afternoon.

So no, I wasn't comparing 2010 hardware to 2004 hardware. I was simply stating the obvious that the 3DS is significantly more powerful than the PSP.
I am. When it comes to portable hardware they're generally several times weaker than non-portable hardware.
Take the iPad 2 for instance. 2011 hardware and it's only half as powerful as the 360 which is 2005 hardware.

The system can output Gamecube level graphics and perhaps beyond. It's not underpowered hardware. It also has more RAM than the Wii.
Keep in mind that for the 3D effect to work they have to render the game twice. I'm sure we'll see some none-3D titles coming out as a tradeoff for more impressive 2D visuals.
