I was hoping they would admit that shutting down Mario 35 was a huge mistake.
At some point I need to look into updating my CFW PS3 Fat up from v 4.2 or whatever it is on.
The price of something is what people are willing to pay for it. That is the only factor.
I sometimes see Lites and regular Switches on Woot.com discounted, but they are usually refurbished.
I have Game Pass because that is how I got a Series X through that All Access thing. I feel like I under-utilize it as I generally just want to play games that I own and am invested in. I don't think I will be resubscribing but I still have over a year's worth of service so maybe I'll change my mind. I do admit that I basically don't buy games on my XBox because of it. I really only buy games on the PS5, and I'm not interested in their PS+ advanced tiers.
I mean it sucks, but I'm still going to be buying it because I know there is a really good chance that it will be at least 50 hours of enjoyment if not more if it is on the same level as BOTW (which I have over 100 hours invested in).
I think the price increase across the board (XBox and Playstation games too) sucks, but I'm not going to give up gaming and find a new hobby over it.
I'll need to see more titles on the scale of Half-Life Alyx and Saints and Sinners before I'm buying into this headset. PCVR support would definitely help me justify the purchase.
"However, it has been confirmed that Ubisoft+ will not be included with a Game Pass subscription. On PC, Ubisoft+ costs £12.99 / $14.99 / €14.99 per month, so we can probably expect a console subscription to be around the same, if not a bit cheaper."
If it isn't a part of Game Pass like the EA one is, then I'm not interested.
First on price, I'd argue the price is fair given the technology and the current cost of competing VR sets. On backwards compatibility, Sony has said that some titles are being updated to support PSVR2 but I understand why they are not supporting all PSVR1 games with PSVR2 out-the-gate. The controller scheme itself is pretty different from the move controllers to the new PSVR2 controllers. Further, in-game representations of the Move controls along with button prompts that don't match...
On PC yes you do.
Straley states that "it’s an argument for unionization that someone who was part of the co-creation of that world and those characters isn’t getting a credit or a nickel for the work they put into it."
I have no comment on how involved he was but I do think the way he is addressing this is fair. I suspect he doesn't have a legal leg to stand on as he worked on a project that he did not secure any IP rights for. Calling for methods to ensure those rights are be...
It is a great game. I may double-dip on this one when it goes on sale.
I'm still pissed off that Microsoft won't fix my out-of-warranty Series controller that has stick drift. Nintendo and Sony replace all controllers with stick drift issues for free, but Microsoft won't. That is reason enough to only buy my games on Playstation going forward.
Edit: I would even pay for them to repair it but they won't. They told me to throw it away and buy a new one.
Not surprising considering RE2 and 3 were from a completely different perspective from the remakes which was more consistent with the original RE4. Aiming and shooting is what needs to be improved upon from the original. The VR version of RE4 has much better aim and shoot mechanics, so much so that it makes the game a bit too easy.
This is how discovery often works. In MS's defense here, if the only way they know the release date of COD is by Googling it then they really don't have first hand knowledge of the release date. These are legal briefs going back and forth here.
Knowing something in a legal sense here. These are legal filings being dissected by journalist who don't understand legal filings.
I'm fine juggling games around on and off my internal drive. More likely to buy games for the PS5 just because I have +2TB of storage on it. MS messed this one up, big time.
Fuck off with the 3d generic action adventure crap. Give me more classic 2d Castlevania or GTFO.
I'm going to play devil's advocate and say that, yes it does have a story, but no it doesn't have a narrative. A narrative is a written or spoken account of connected events. There is some of that in Elden Ring, and I love how they handle the story in that game and wouldn't change a thing -- but i don't think it rises to the level of "a narrative". But that is just like my opinion.
After having it for awhile since it came with my Series X through that "All Access" program, all I can say is that I don't feel like I'm getting enough value out of it and I don't plan to keep the subscription going. IMO its a great service for people constantly looking for something new to play or get through content quickly and so they go through lots of games -- this is not me though.
