What I've noticed is that Sony has big problems with durability of their electronics.
My Bravia HDTV broke after 3 1/2 years and for the price Sony quoted to fix it I bought a new non-Sony HD TV instead. I went through 3 pairs of Sony headphones in one year. I guarantee that the 10% failure rate will go up pretty steadily as people own their PS3s for more than 2-3 years.
Microsoft fixes RROD or E74 free of charge and even pays for shipping.
1 out of 10 PS3s break and Sony charges $150 to fix each one.

General Raam is one of the best bosses of this gen. That's the beauty of Gears of War. It is challenging like old school video games. If you don't like it then go play Fable 2.

PS. Shipped does not equal sold. MS could have had a ton of 360s already in the pipeline and didn't need to ship as many and the same goes for Sony.

there is no real way you can spin this. Sony is actually losing money and not turning a profit at all while MS is seeing a small decline in profits compared to the previous year in their gaming division.
I still stand by my 2008 prediction that Sony pulls support for the PS3 in 2010.
I doubt it would be a PS3 exclusive. MS rescued Bungie from near bankruptcy while Bungie was developing Halo: CE. However, it could be multiplatform...maybe.
For an alleged Halo Killer app they sure as heck aren't supporting it like Bungie still supports Halo 3 to this day. Yet again, everyone wants to talk smack against Halo but still no one wants to step up and match Bungie punch for punch.
I should hope that KZ2 is the last "Halo killer" for awhile.

how come reviewers docked points from Gears 2 for not expanding upon the Gears 1 system enough but reviewers never mention that Uncharted's controller set up and gameplay is basically a Gears clone?
So transparent that websites trip over themselves to keep the PS3 alive with inflated scores so they keep getting that Sony ad revenue. Every Sony exclusive I ever played was over-rated...
