I've enjoyed everything I saw so far, from the new traversal to the much easier way to use the weapons that were in the first game. This game has a lot going for it, it's hard not to get excited if you've enjoyed the first game which was amazing to begin with.

I don't think it's going to be the future but as the technology advances I think it's going to be an amazing addition to gaming. Just like the flight sticks and racing wheels have contributed to their genres, VR will certainly help with immersion when it comes to certain games.

It would be disappointing if the headset was not backwards compatible. If that's the case, I would expect Sony to make sure some of the smaller titles get patched up to be compatible. I know a lot of people, myself included, have waited for 2nd gen VR when the library of games is bigger to jump into it and not being able to go back and play the titles missed would be unfortunate.

Buying PSVR2 to play the few available titles would also not be worth it for many people, I...

Let's celebrate the 35th Anniversary by destroying the environment and letting you give us more money in exchange for absolutely nothing. Thanks!

Am I missing something here?

Ubisoft charging $15 is just making a better case for Gamepass because if you had to pick between the two, surely people would go with Gamepass. If you want both it really starts to add up.

I just don't see how any of this benefits Ubisoft.

This game was made for me. I've 100% it twice now, Sucker Punch delivered once again.

Count me in, I skipped on the first one but this headset seems to fix some issues and looks to be a really great addition to Playstation. Probably won't be cheap considering all the technology in it but I'm already set on getting it right away.

"PS VR2 will also have a simple setup process — with a single cable connected directly to PS5, you can immediately jump into the VR experience."

It's not going to be wireless.

I do catch Nextlanders each week. I'm not always into the same games as them but they are interesting to listen to at the very least.

Starfield for the second half of 2022 for sure.

I think the issue here is that it is not labeled as an early access game. To my knowledge Playstation/Xbox/Steam usually have a disclaimer.

I think the article's title is the real problem here. I think as far as 2021 goes both Playstation and Xbox were about even and when we compare both of them to the previous year, they just don't quite live up to it.

To be fair it was a weird year.

Then to turn around and say everything has paid off is not an accurate statement to make. If this was indeed the best Xbox could pull off, there would be a lot more concern but I think we all know that t...

Gamepass has plenty of day one stuff on there as well, but Gamepass is ultimately a value proposition, most games that are not developed by Xbox first party will eventually make it over to Playstation and/or Nintendo. I think there is a benefit to Gamepass but as someone who rarely plays games as soon as they come out most of those benefits are lost on me.

If you are on a budget, Gamepass is great but if you are on a budget, why did you buy a $500 console in the first plac...

I think the problem is that you're comparing the two companies. Sony has been delivering for a while now. Xbox is just starting to pick up their stride. I think it makes sense to point out that Xbox has been getting some things right but to call the year outstanding is a bit ridiculous.

Psychonauts 2 was arguably their best released game last year.
I don't count Deathloop because that game was exclusive to Playstation and while it's great for Microsoft...

Forespoken is probably the biggest question mark as far as the first half of 2022 goes, the game could really go both ways at this point.
Hopefully they manage to pull through.

How do you feel about Giant Bomb since the split? The podcast kinda became unbearable for me. I can't even tell if those guys like games anymore, half the time they go on tangents about food and alcohol and the other half is filled with Jeff being pessimistic about games.

I've been enjoying Sacred Symbols. They are a Playstation focused podcast but they just do news really well and actually have a level headed discussion about everything Playstation without being fanboys about it.

Don't listen to anything on this list though.

I really like Platinum, combat systems in their games are usually top notch.
However, I do think the studio suffers a bit in most other areas. They seem to work on what seems like dozen games at a time and I just wish that they would scale back sometimes and polish these games up. There are a lot of areas where their games suffer, bland environments, sounds/music, visually they come up short, level design etc.

If they could just focus down, I think their studio w...

I think he finds how chubby Aloy's cheeks are to be far more important than Starfield gameplay. If you look in the other article, it's all he can talk about. Just ignore him and move on, he's nothing more than a troll looking for attention.

Some serious trust issues here.
They have no reason to decieve people.

Writing a blog post took couple hours at most from his work day. It went through their PR team most likely but to straight up write a fake list for literally no reason is a bit of a stretch.
