Why do the graphics look worse than the first one?
Someone told me Microsoft is going to be publishing a PC exclusive RTS game and maybe something else. That MS is focusing on PC specific games, not ports.

the original Stalker sold something like 3 million copies, and the new one that came out earlier this year sold 2 pretty easy. Even if it's getting pirated, they probably don't care. Hell that's what Bioshock 1 managed to do on the PC and 360. Not to mention 2 million is more than what Bioshock 2 sold on three platforms.
I don't know about everyone else but this guy gives me serious douche chills.
With those specs it would cost upwards of $800 to make, at the least. Not likely.
Looks like another generic modern military shooter
The whole new one just doesn't have anything connecting it to the old games. Barely any characters, barely any story, no setting, no art design, and most importantly, the gameplay is a huge departure from the first two. The first two were PC twitch shooters, and this new one is just another gears of war knock off.
I remember seeing a gameplay video of this that showed a car drifting and powersliding around turns, I doubt this is anything but PR drivel.
Even that boxart just screams "this is going to f*cking SUCK", remember also this is being made by the people who made that absolute piece of garbage Fracture, not even the hacks left at Monolith who made that crappy second one.

Machinarium was only released on the PC, MS sees that as a competing platform now to the 360, they don't publish PC games anymore at all. They haven't published any new games since 2007.
See my post below, it's publisher maneuvering. Microsoft want to push the 360 in europe more and think that trying to kill off PC gaming is the way to do that.
Microsoft doesn't publish PC games anymore. The old head of MS europe said before that Micorsoft thinks that PC game releases cut into how many consoles they can sell in Europe.
This is really bad damage control. It's not two projects at once, it's recompiling and downgrading assets where needed, and rebalacing controls. Nevermind they showed perfectly stable running code of the game YEARs ago.
Probably some gimmick that will take a week's worth of work to add like all of their other console to PC ports. Capcom delay the PC versions of games right before release like this always because they think it curbs piracy.
I don't expect much out of this, the second one was awful.

Probably talking about how the controls and level design will have to be scaled back from the first game since consoles don't have as much power or memory so they can't support big draw distances, high res textures, and large explorable levels. Control wise Crysis doesn't work very well on a controller, you can't lean and it has autoaim (for some reason developers for the most part are afraid to put autoaim into console shooters now), not to mention the suit controls worked awkwardly on a con...
Digital Extremes is a horrible developer who's done nothing but crap outside of making maps for UT2k4.
