I don't get the price raise, they don't have any new games aside from a yearly releases so, what is the excuse to raise the price ?
They're not greedy, they just know how stupid people can be to buy this shit just to brag, cause it doesn't have any use on gameplay.
I get your point but they don't even know the whole game and they don't know the character, if it's good or bad written, they're just judging by the look of the character and not by it's impact on the story, and on top of that the one who's making a crusade about this are the gaming journalists themselves, gamers are not complaining about the look of the character.
I thought ign was a gaming news site that talks and analyses video games, now they're what? A videogame politics analysing website? Why these people find so hard to talk only about the videogame itself and leave the politics to the ones who understands them. This would be like a sports commentator analysing a team playing a sport and say "well they suck, they're winning, but they suck because they don't have enough diversity on their team"
I agree that some of the surface textures could use an upgrade in quality...
I guess Sweet Baby Inc had nothing to do with this one... If this game ever releases on PC the mods for it will be 👌
My comment maybe was misinterpreted, I was trying to be sarcastic and failed miserably. LOL, I already downloaded the demo and it's awesome, don't understand the comparison with automata though (I played through automata twice), I guess it has more in common with soulslike games with more maneuverability. About the character I don't know why some people get mad about it, when the protagonist is a man almost shirtless nobody says a thing, but if it is a woman, man it seems the worl...
Dude can't get roles on movies anymore so he turn to starring in games, and bad ones at that...
Weren't gamers angry because of the sexualised protagonist? I thought the game wouldn't sale at all... Gaming journalists were saying that gamers don't identify with those kind of characters, I don't get it... Are gaming journalists wrong? 🫣
AAA games nowadays are short or long, either 4 to 8 or 40 to 100b, nothing or very few in between...
I guess the only problem is the engine, it's limited for the scope they had for this game, I hope that eso 6 is not being developed on this engine.
I guess that the problem are Xbox exclusives are lacking in quality, last gears and halo were not great, the Forza games are good, but after these they don't have anything else and most players don't see the value on game pass, I'm a subscriber but on pc...
People work overtime when there isn't enough people to do the job and the established deadlines are unreal, having said that I think the problem is that greedy companies with a greedy administration want to do more with less people and less time, so yes I agree that AAA gaming must die, but not because of overtime work(we know why this happens) but because the state of the games released in the last few years is shameful and the live service games are just scams disguised as videogames.
Why?...
AAAA game with AA price...
I didn't say he was a good guy I know he isn't, my comment don't imply that, I'm saying is a good anti hero, like Kratos, Kratos isn't a Nice guy he's also an anti hero, and they're both excellent characters, and the character that we are given to play with instead of joel, that abby character is not. That is my opinion.
For me, I'm good with part 1 only. When they decided to kill Joel the interest just stopped for me. Joel was a great anti hero and a great character and the trade off on part 2 was very subpar, so, yeah I'm good with the part one remastered.
The problem with many publishing and developing companies today is that they don't make games in form of art but as a product, which the only goal is to be profitable instead of appreciated. Maybe the AAA or AAAA tag is for how much money was spent on the project and not for the quality of it, I think. That being sad this generation of gaming is getting plagued with this soulless games which the only objective is to get our money and that's it.
Maybe they're trying to earn some goodwill... There are many developers that never made a gacha game and suddenly they did, like EA with they're sports games since they came up with ultimate team.
Ah, a gotcha game from Capcom... I bet it will suck...
