to have a few surprises with the achievements, usually I just play a game all the way through and then check out the achievements, if I truly like the game or want more achievements I'll play it specifically to collect the "cool" achievements I think are worth getting. Either way I think achievements add a little something to the games and thats a nice bonus for M$.
No need to flame, but that is an amazing looking screenshot, seriously I think it would be tough to tell the difference side by side with a photo unless you really really take a hard look at it. Seriously is that ingame? -no flaming.
to give Blue Dragon a try, never been a big fan of turned based fighting games (JRPG's) but I'm willing to give 'em a try again. BD looks interesting, I'm hoping it will grow on me once I give it a go.

This was a great read from IGN with alot of interesting news about Halo3. I admire Bungie's confidence in releasing a Beta test for such a highly anticipated and heavily scrutinized game....I think its an indication that Bungie is indeed serious when they say they want to make Halo3 the very best Halo to date. I don't doubt that Bungie will deliver.
Correct me if I'm wrong....but there's no typo, the headline on this post was created by the contributor. Now of course a popular game like this will have collector editions & special editions for both consoles(DVD, artwork, key chain, etc.= just bonus material)....that has nothing to do with the "exclusive" content that M$ paid Rockstar to create, no one knows what that exclusive content is going to be exactly but 1 things for sure it won't show up on PS3 since Rockstar signed...

yeah 60fps is nice, but its a damm football game, for the most part you will barely ever notice the difference between 60 and 30, I mean as long as there are no major framerate slowdowns/glitches then you likely won't be able to tell the difference. Yes, Santanas you are correct but like I'm saying CD's are still around and has a healthy place in the music business but most people with a computer/internet get their music through downloads, which is most likely used(listen to) from a small storage device/player with of course iPod being the most popular.

Neither format will "win", they both will keep fighting for a small percent of the market as oppose to DVD's dominant share, digital distribution will begin growing in 2008 and in 2 yrs it will be more mainstream than both HD DVD and Blu-ray....just my thinking, but who knows its possible we could see a "compromise" in a year, never say never?....We'll see?
In general once the avg consumer becomes interested in a new product their descision to adopt/buy it or not is usually based on 3 main criteria:
Price + Convenience + Quality= VALUE, which of course is relative/subjective because all people are different which means a new product could be great in all 3 area's but it may not be valuable(wanted) if the mass consumer is not interested. Well I don't doubt that Forza2 may freeze or cause some error's for some 360 owners.
