Well I have now problem with your math skills but its funny that you are so willing to accept the speculation of one gamer who suggest that 2,500 360's are being returned daily yet you don't actually look at or consider what the "facts" suggest from your own link, as you say according to vgcharts in the UK 1,304,667 x360 are sold.
The second link you provided says that 5,355 total broken 360's which includes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. failures for those who have had more tha...
Maybe some of you need to at least READ the article that you are commenting about.....its a PS fan site and at least it attempted to make a reasonable list of exclusives with a decent explanation of their logic.
#24Acemanwise, Bro you can't be serious? -lol
I thought the Beta was very successful everyone I know that played it is even more excited about what the final H3 will be like?, how will it look?, what new effects will they add?, what didn't we see in the multiplayer?, what weapons haven't we seen?, and so many other unanswered questions, which of course the biggest of them all being how will we FINISH THE FIGHT?.....but hey its good to know that "some" PS3fans who clearly don't like the 360 much at all based on their post histor...
Its amazing how you are overlooking one MAJOR difference between the rumors like Bioshock and the really, really weak rumor about Gears.....which is anytime those rumors began to circulate the dev's themselves came out and clearly said that they were false. In the case of MGS4 just like your link(from June 2005) all of the statements that said it was PS3 exclusive are older than the "rumors" from sites like Destructoid and even the interview where the someone from Konami began talk...
I don't usually agree with you, err well I don't ever remember agreeing with you but that comment makes a whole lot of sense. I don't know if Shadowrun should be $20 but $60 is too much for just a multiplayer game. A single player campaign can be deep enough to be a great game on its on (thats the way it was for a long time remember?)and I think Bioshock will do just fine in this area.
I disagree with your theory totaly, in fact I'm willing to bet you Bioshock hits a mil pretty quickly for the 360, maybe not Gears of War quick but it will be less than 2 months which is really fast compared to almost every other next gen game on any platform. Trust me based on everything I've seen and read it will happen. If it doesn't feel free to remind me if I forget but if I'm wrong I will personally apologize to you (on N4G) and admit that your theory was correct.
M$ makes money either way and regardless few gamers have the set-up to run the latest high end games and the fact is that games that are on both PC and consoles sell alot better on consoles. For all the talk of PC controls being better than console, PC game sales have been falling behind foy years. At one point I started gaming on PC but IMO console gaming is far better and I enjoy it alot more in the comfort of my living room on my huge plasma tv. Bioshock is sure to be a AAA game based o...
I don't think just because you are a PS3fan you should not read and comment on this news article....I would just hope ALL members make an effort to make a "reasonable" comment....whether its negative or positive. M$ deserves criticism and hopefully the latest measure will significantly reduce the amount of failures to normal standards.
In fact this is the first "new" report that I have read in a long time that seems to take a "fair" look at the ha...
"But MS consoles are far simpler to code for then a Sony machine. So of course Games like Gears and Bioshock and Mass effect are gonna reflect that. But graphics don't automatically make a game great. Solid gameplay and Story have alot to do with the experiance and thats where a Games like Gears and Halo and others have fallen short."
-In other words *Playstation games are better. Thats cool, everbody's allowed to have an opinion. As for me amazingly when I find the...
They better show this game in action at E3, this is one of my must have games(I'm praying to the Gaming Gods it plays great too) and they need to give us a f-king release date soon, if not then I'm going to boycott Too Human for a long, long time, which means I won't buy it until the day after release.
Well I have to agree with who ever said this is just another Oblivion all over again....more time so they "touched it up a bit", why wouldn't they for a game that came out later?....it is however not surprising to see so many PS3 fans turn on VF5 so quickly, ha, ha BOTH of the fanboy clubs are SO predictable.
You can please alot of the people most of the time, but you can never ever please all of the people all of the time. -Damm, I remember when critics were saying they didn't even like M$'s "new" idea of implementing achievements in games, and now this news= zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
14.3 - "of course ferral
you have to be a sony fanboy to think ms shafts people dont ya................we do not comment on that."
-hmmm, Well I thought I made my opinion very clear but you obviously didn't comprehend what I said in my comment. -OK, I'll try to keep it really simple just for you Bro. I'll make easy for you by just copying my original comment that is directly revelant to your RESPONSE to me (located in my #14.2 post just above the "edit&q...
I don't care much for "viral marketing", usually they always make it so wierd where its just one big guessing game with tiny clues, but in this case although its still just small clues about the story, its does add to the story line, not just some random wierd clip just for the hell of it, watching this stuff actually makes me more curious about whats going on....instead of thinking wtf was that?
You said it:
"From what I have heard about this case since it got settled MS has gotten what it was due to get"
-lol, uhm who exactly did you hear this from? Unless you have some inside info, then I assume you've been reading the same info I have been reading, so your statement suggests that you are taking Immersions word for it. So the "defendant" is saying he's not guilty aye? hmmmm?
I don't know I just think its funny becau...
If M$ gets sued its because they are guilty as accused, if they file suit against any other company then they are shafting them. Riiight?
Is it remotely possible that M$ is correct and Immersion did not pay them what they are "legitimately" owed? -Hell I don't know Immersion could be right and maybe they don't owe M$ any money, but from what I read in this article it lacks the details to know for certain which company is correct, which is why they both will have the...
Well IMO this is a no brainer.....say whatever you want, but PSN is not even close to XBL....but thats OK, its still free, give 'em time. In the end they will just copy what M$ is doing, and thats OK too, everybody in this industry copies stuff all the time...but it takes time and I don't care how you look at it eventually they're going to charge a fee.
Hey guys check out my Ride!
Well I guess he should know;
"a man who has had 8 consoles fail so far explains....."
-*Luckily my console hasn't failed, I guess I'll play the lottery tommorrow too, but I'm just wondering who is this "man", because personally there's no way in hell I would still put up with a 360 after so many failures....after 2 or 3 I would be so pissed off at M$, by the 4th or 5th I just don't think I would be willing to risk it again, but damm 8 failures...
^^^^^^ uhm, yeah I know M$ has bought a stake in Immersion that's old news, and since we don't know the exact details of that business arrangement then everything else is just speculation. I mean its obvious if M$ is suing them it's because they feel they are owed money.
I don't think the details will be made public until the court case happens, or maybe never at all, if Immersion concedes. Alot of companies "buy" a stake in other companies that relate somehow to ...
Like I said at least this survey "attempts" to collect data for a "fair" assessment of the failure rate, and at least we can both agree in a common sense approach that its "likely" less than 30% failure rate, even though IMO its closer to 10-15% of launch consoles, which is still waaaaay to high and if you think about it thats alot of angry customers that can make the "percieved" failure rate look much higher. I don't know all the facts but it seems to...
