it was getting downright ridiculous going over a year with literally zero actual news, not a single screenshot, piece of concept art, or any real developer commentary.
I consider myself a fan of the 360, but this article is utter b.s. Sony is doing just fine and besides competition is absolutely necessary for the gaming industry to improve. Anybody that actually wants them to pull out is a complete dumbass seeking the death of the "advancement" leg (nintendo following the "broad/casual" leg and microsoft the "in between" leg, IMO) of the giant gaming pedestal.
god i hate tokyo hotel, but that was SO true!
they are...big time, but yeah the texture pop-in was annoying as hell. as long as that's fixed i think i'll be happy too.
flamebait much? the only limitation i'd see is the graphic violence preventing the kiddos from playing this one, but even then there are more 18+ gamers than ever, so I'm seeing bigger sales.
if they actually said they were shaking in their little space boots over the slim!
there isn't even gonna be a monthly fee for this game! ...and they never said they were gonna develop for 360 in the first place, they said they'd like to and probably will if apb turns out to be a big success. does the blogger even keep track of their basic podcast? i'm not trying to be some fanboy going wait and see! (i plan to get this for pc anyways) i'm just trying to say quit making sh1t up when there's actual true information already out!
More like, we'd really like to but we're still considering it. Please jump over to gamer zone to check my more detailed summary. Either way, if you've got a PC to play this on most definitely get excited!
It's all the best parts of GTA with a massive amount of customization for the character, their cars, and their music (you can create your own songs or port in premade soundtracks!) all crammed into one hell of a user fueled MMO with no monthly fees. What more could you ask fo...
I read an article the other day saying that basically APB's performance on the PC is going to determine whether or not it comes to 360, most likely because they don't want to invest too much in an iffy field (mmo's for consoles) when they're still waiting to see whether APB dies or thrives in the PC MMO category which we all know can be ruthless.
Also, as several users have mentioned there isn't going to be a monthly fee. That has me both excited and scared at the same time beca...
He showed undying support for MS and what did it get him? a promotion! Gabe Newell may be doing the same thing (except rather than a promotion it's probably better support from MS)
Either way, this is just a flamebait article
I was praying SO hard recently after seeing one of the newer ads that someone would make another article.
i'd say the playstyle is more similar to bioshock, with better animations, and of course it's post apocalyptic (and there's car battles too hell yeah!)
same reason why wii and 360 get bashed: fanboyism
it's either...
A) PS3 has no good games/it's in last place/it's too expensive
B) 360 has no good games/RROD/always breaks/damn that fan is loud
C) Wii has no good games/it's too casual/graphics suck
I'm not backing any of these opinions, it's just observations I've made from what everyone says here on N4G, but have you noticed a trend? Each console has it's own branch of good games (or niche w/e) th...
considering how terrible i am with names, i have to know someone pretty well before i remember theirs. yes i do regularly hang out with these people, not "see them once every six months". even then, it's not just a social setting (or drinking setting as I'm guessing you're thinking) all of the organizations i've been in have a very strict drinking policy, meaning that i've actually taken time to get to know all of these people long before i see them drunk. even then, by party i ...
when you're in two 100+ member leadership organizations and two orientation camps (both of which have 30 counselors that you get really tight with and over 100 freshmen a good portion of which you get to hang out with through continuity programs) plus with all the people you meet on/off campus, it's relatively a cakewalk.
no, but 1000 contacts probably results in about 300 "legit" friends, which is pretty easy to pull off if you're social and get involved at college, rather than stay in your dorm all day and play your hundreds of video games.
btw... i count legitimate as being able to call the person up to hang out or come over to your house for a visit/party. i'd say i'm closer to the 200 mark myself
Way to completely miss the point guys! They're trying to target multiple highschool demographics (or stereotypes, w/e) not with intent to offend them (honestly, if you're offended by that, it's probably because it's true) but to make them THINK, hence ThinkB4YouSpeak.
People don't like "stereotypes" being flung around, and yet the LGBT stereotype is used to a sickening degree with very little thought.
Now, having said that, I'm also one for internet anon...
it's enough to make me want to just rent/borrow mw2 just so i can teach him a lesson.
My mind immediately went back to the day I saw that commercial and thought, "this game is going to change the world."
A couple weeks later I found out a friend got Mario golf instead of Super Smash Bros, and I wanted to flip out.
it looks pretty...plain. i feel like it lacks a lot of the flair of the original. does it even have a glossy finish?
on the bright side it does appear to be very slim, and will probably do well for it.
