Frame rate for this looks a lot more stable than Age of Calamity. 🧐 Either way, day 1 for me.

There seems to be a lot of “told ya so”s in here. Everyone already knows that PS5 will outsell XSX/S when stock allows. The point many people are trying to make on here is simply that Xbox is in higher demand this gen than last. That’s all.
Right. Demand isn’t decreasing for PS5. There’s just not enough supply. However, demand is increasing for Series S/X compared to last gen, and there IS supply for that. (The reason why there is supply is another argument altogether.)
At the risk of starting a flame war, I don’t get the argument that “Xbox is only selling more because series S/X is always available and/or there are no PS5s.” That could account for some of the reason (clueless parents buying whatever for their kids), but I really think that if people wanted a PS5, I mean REALLY wanted it, they would wait. A console isn’t cheap. It’s an investment. I don’t save my money to get a (hypothetical) Porsche then when I go to the lot and see that they’re out, say “...

This is in my backlog of games I have yet to play. Might be time I give this a go.
My personal favorite was Cataclysm. It was cool seeing the original zones get an upgrade/change, not to mention finally being able to fly.

I’m going to be real careful here and not say “handheld”, but what more power could you expect from a hybrid? Don’t list cell phones. They cost almost 4x as much as the switch now. Steam deck itself is also “only” as powerful as a PS4. For the price point and battery life, having ray tracing and DLSS piled on top of having the raw power of a base PS4 is quite impressive for a next gen Switch. People are saying the SoC is labeled T239, a lower powered version of Orin. If true, that gives it the power of base PS4, PLUS whatever DLSS can provide on top of that. Hope it’s true. 🤞
Good to know I’m not alone in thinking this. Besides a new gimmick, what could Mario Kart 9 bring to the table on Switch? The Switch isn’t that much more powerful than WiiU, so it’s not like Mario Kart 9 on Switch would look vastly different. I’d much rather wait and be wowed by the visuals of a Switch 2 Mario Kart 9 launch title.
