Yeah I'm with you there. The only mascot nintendo title I like is zelda and I can get that on wii U. With that in mind, all switch has is ports of games I already own. No reason to buy one.
Games from CDPR, Bioware (before they became trash), sony, a lot of stuff from square enix, Some ubisoft titles, the tell tale games, dontnod, until dawn, yakuza and a bunch of indies I end up loving.
More games. Like ninja theory or that tomb raider deal a while back. we could get games from them AND new stuff from MS.
@neutral Bluepoint are the absolute best at remasters. not just SOTC, they also did all the uncharted games.

TES and Fallout are rubbish
rockstar is rubbish
multiplayer is rubbish
first person shooters are rubbish
$60 for every new game is rubbish
nintendo's mascot titles are rubbish (mario, donkey kong etc)
mobile games are great (they keep all the cash in, movie tie in rubbish off my consoles)
A game doesn't have to be from the 80's or 90...

@reaprr Having to pay to play a free to play game is just as big an issue, if not more so. It's just that you want xbox to have a win, so you ignore it. Guaranteed, if it was reversed, you'd be hammering Sony about locking it behind a paywall.

Ish's story would have worked better as a prolouge or expansion.
I doubt they'll take that big a risk. safer to form some second party relationships and see how they turn out then look at acquisitions.

They had that in the bag when Sega stepped out of hardware and they kinda blew it in the long run by only chasing NA and UK. that shaped xbox into the bro shooter console. Honestly, I don't know if they can make head way in Japan. I feel they'd need their US and UK customers to also support those games so they sell enough and I never see the xbox crowd go out and support stuff outside the norm; not in any meaningful numbers anyway.
Casuals play just as many if not more first person bud. The king of the casual games, COD is first person.
