Here is the plain and simple truth: The Playstation 3 promised way more than it delivered, and the "just wait until next year" line is getting old.
We are gaming NOW, and anyone that is willing to be honest with themselves can see that the Xbox 360 has the better games and a better online service.
At the rate that Sony is going, the next Xbox will be released right around the time they finally start releasing some decent games, and that will REALLY suck for PS3...
I would like to try it, it's probably fun.
$25,000 is nuts, though. That's more than I spent on my Ford F-150!

I know, it's hard to believe that Sony has gone from 1st place to last place in such a short amount of time.
It must have killed them to see Halo 3 generate $170 million in sales in it's first 24 hours, while they still have to remind gamers that the PS3 even exists.
I know that I will have fun while playing it (like I did with Halo 1 and Halo 2) and that is all that matters to me.
As someone who has been holding off on getting Halo 3 until the price dropped, I am very happy about this.
I was just waiting until the game itself came down to $40 or so, but getting the Legendary Edition for $59.82 was the last thing I expected to have happen.
I really don't care WHY they are selling them for $59.82, I'm just happy that they ARE selling them for $59.82!

I want two things fixed ASAP.
(1) The game ending because the host is getting owned has got to stop. The game needs to continue without the host.
(2) I am really sick of being thrown into a game that started 5 minutes before I was put into it. It is not fun to play against people that have had a 5 minute head start.
Awesome game though, even with it's annoying multiplayer issues.

I have been gaming since the early 1980's (on my Atari 2600) and I have never seen such a long list of incredible games available.
The developers of Bioshock and Mass Effect were hardly "playing it safe" when creating those games, and even a simple game like Call of Duty 4 is so incredibly well done that it does not need some elaborate story behind it.
