Why do you Sony fanboys always have something to say about X360 owners? Your jealously really shows when you make comments like that. Infamous looks good, but its nowhere near the hype a lot you are giving it. Do you really think it is game of the year material? Please don't kid yourself.
I think I would prefer prototype over infamous. I have actually pre-ordered prototype, but think I will just rent infamous. My biggest issues with infamous is its lack variety in the environments, not being able to use weapons or vehicles, and the story seems like it will be on the cheesy side. I may give it a rent thouhg
My ps3 is collecting dust right now even with Killzone 2. I find my 360 much more enjoyable. I am trying to find a great game that I can enjoy on the ps3, besides MGS4, but have been unsuccessful. I think I may get resistance 2 this weekend, hopefully it will impress me.
BTW, my ps3 online id is "jesstray", so you don't think I am just a xbox fanboy.
Grow-up, the 360 is leading the console market this generation. Therefore they must be doing something right.
I don't expect for it to look nowhere near Killzone 2. I am not really expecting much from it. I do however hope that they make a Halo 4, with a better story and varied gameplay.
I honestly cannot get into Killzone 2 for some reason. I know people are going to claim I am a fanboy, but I am being honest. I really do wish I could find a truly excellent game for my ps3. So far MGS4 is the only game I would put in that category on the ps3. BTW, I was also very disappointed with Halo 3, but I do like the series overall.
I don't think digital distribution will ever replace the hard copy medium. I only rent blu-ray and have never done a down-loadable dist, at least not legally. Anyway I think the the primary issues are the time it takes to download, missing out on the extras, and the volatility of digital files. May someday in the not too distant future this will not be an issue.
I was into the Microsoft Gamer points for awhile, but I could really care less. For some reason the trophy system doesn't seem as obvious. Either way I guess it isn't a big deal

If it works why change it. I have had some memorable fun with GOW II. Even the cutscenes are amazing.

Does my username and avatar make me a fanboy? I have had 360 and ps3 since they first came out. Obviously I had the 360 first so I used my live name as my account name on here. I also have a PS3_LJ account, but I don't use multiple accounts like some of you. Also, for my 360 controller all I have to do is switch the rechargeable AA batteries I got from ebay 3 years ago for $12. Much easier than having to plug in a controller.
Well I am off to play some KillZone 2.
I honestly don't purchase ps3 games when possible because of the controller. I think the 360 controller is perfectly fine. Speaking of nickel and dime strategies, I had to pay an additional $40 just to get rumble feature back. I also hate having to "plug-in" my controller to recharge it.

Gears of War to easy? That is the only game I cannot beat. I have not been able to beat the last boss.

I am concerned that the entire game will look the same. Can someone tell me if there are more varied environments in killzone? All the pics that I have seem appear to be similar areas. Did the original killzone go to various locations? Does anyone think the original is worth a rent and playthrough before playing the sequal?
I own a MGS4 and would like to know where these "expansive lands" to roam in are located. MGS4 areas are just as limited as GeoW and Halo3. MGS4 is a great game, but sometimes it seems that sony fan boys imagine or exaggerate things.
I own all three systems and all three has there pros/cons. However there is no need to lie or post hidden negative responses in other system forums to make your favorite system sound superior.

Its not actually rail shooting so to speak. You still have control of your character, its just that the environment is smaller/limited. The motorcycle stage in MGS4 was rail shooting. However the Ship level in MGS4 was not rail shooting, which is similar to the train level in GeoW. There is a difference.
I am not saying there wont be any of those levels in GeoW2, but at this point we really don't know.
Not having any penalty from dying took out the challenge out of the game. I really enjoyed it, but it was way too easy. I liked Prey's idea of death much better. BTW, does the scar even have an impact on gameplay?
