Was there any doubt?
Such a stunning game. The ending was fantastic.
And judging ff16 on the performance of another development studio is just as stupid . Forspoken was a miss, big deal, at least they tried to make a new IP and experience.
We all complain about getting sequel after sequel, we should be happy for new IPs even when they dont hit a home run.
They 'own' 70% of the market because various companies like google have given up on cloud gaming as not being worth the investment, hardly the same as having 70% of a market thats competitive.
The overreaction to one bad game is really starting to border on hysteria now. Get a grip.
Mainly because not everyone views things through fanboy lenses? Why non Xbox players would come and comment on Xbox articles however...
Like it or not 2023 has been a good year for Xbox so far outside of Redfall, its only May ffs. The end of 2022 was good as well and couple that with the acquisitions that have been made under Phil and the games in the pipeline why would we want rid of him for one bad game and a nonsensical ruling from the CMA thats still got to play out in...
You've clearly not listened to the 50 minute interview if you think this is a normal PR speech. But lets be honest, you arent here for normal discourse and would slate anything he said no matter what it was.
Really interesting and open interview to be honest. Fair play at holding his hands up and accepting the blame for Redfall and I agree with commentators remarks that we as a gaming community lose when a new title thats been taken with risk doesn't succeed as we all need these titles to do well less we get cookie cutter repeat titles ad nauseum.
The clickbait is strong with this one.
Good on you Square!
Don't play it till its had a good few patches?
I take it Starfield became terrible as soon as it was announced that it wasn't releasing on Playstation?
People really want this game to fail, huh.
I actually buy a lot more games since getting Gamepass, however counter intuitive that is, but I almost never buy a title for full price now. Not sure what positive effect that trend can have on gaming as a hobby.
A titan and a legend of the industry.
Such a leap forward in graphics, excited to see this starting to become the norm in the next decade.
Yes, the textures are much smaller due to the lower resolution deployed, as it should be. The real story is how much of a downgrade the visuals are, if not at all then its a non story.
Thats not a problem as its not whats being asked. Just because a tiny proportion of the gaming community has that luxury doesn't make it not exist.
Thats not true at all though, Digital Foundry have got the CP2077 running on many 3000 series cards at frame rates that console players would deem as extremely playable;
https://www.youtube.com/wat...
a 4090 is absolutely capable of running it at insane frame rates. Heck that card does 8k60fps at least in a lot of games right now.
As rumoured earlier, the saga continues.
