I started on Mario, Castlevania, Metroid, Battletoads, and Megaman. I started out hardcore. Kids these days are fucking lame.

It seems the game has the Final Fantasy 8 effect where the enemies/bosses' level coincide with your own. (Which is why False King was taking so much damage from him and not wiping the player out in one hit.)

Remember, reviewers just couldn't enjoy the game on it's own merits because the short length kept pulling them out of/and ruinging the experience. Yet since it's a shooter, we don't even mention 4 hours...
3D has to render the image twice... They aren't the most amazing games graphically this gen, but a port (or a side story) of RE5 and Street Fighter 4 looking very close to the 360/PS3 version are on the 3DS.
what's sadder, a 4 hour game for 60 bucks, or a group of people consiously defending it? It seems some reviewers are due to rereview Heavenly Sword if this game hits anywhere over 70/100 on Metacritic.

As far back as the release of Morrowind, the western media has been saying JRPGs need to be more like WRPGs, and that JRPG fans are out of touch for liking JRPGs as they are. You got what you asked for in FFXIII. Now STFU.
actually has the best track record when it comes to movie-tie-ins... They almost never made a stinker back on the genesis. Plus theres always games like Goldeneye, Escape from Butcher Bay, etc. If they put time into it, it should be ok. if they're stuck under a strict schedule that synch's up with the movie's development time, it'll probably suck.
how easily it is to convert a gf into a gamer... My gf used to get jealous of how much I spent playing games, so I gave her my PS2 and all my games(Kingdom Hearts and Lego series does wonders)... months later she started going with me to buy her own games. Now we fight over who's turn it is to play.

at sony because they didn't flood the market with 4 different versions of the same system. You want the DS to be the sooper-dooper selling portable, this is what happens. Can't have your cake and eat it too. Now bend over... Nintendo has a new DS for you to buy.
