Agreed.

A reskinned Battlefield at least would have had some replay appeal.

As it stands SW:BF is one of the most generic FPS titles I've ever played in my life. Everything is so homogenized that it's difficult to see why people would play it for anymore than a few months at most?

The card system, lack of reloading, no classes and the confrontations that basically includes doing nothing more than standing face to face and firing unti...

You couldn't be more wrong.

Objectively speaking this Battlefront is worse than the one on the PS2. Fewer weapons, fewer maps, no roll, smaller maps (I'm not even sure how they managed to make the maps smaller in 2015), and no class dynamics.

You don't get to repair vehicles anymore since there's no longer an engineering class.

There's no vehicle hijacking like in the older games.

You can't tie up the...

Now if only more press started arguing on behalf on the consumer we wouldn't have half as many problems as pervasive as they are in the industry.

Interesting. Nice to see some updates on this title.

I really hope this game doesn't shy away from its core themes about the impossible moral choices the police are sometimes faced with. I can easily see a publisher wanting to make some changes to that element of the game, but we'll see how it all unfolds after the game makes it on Greenlight.

@MysticSummer

You really need to research heroin. It's a mind altering drug.

Do you really think just putting a label on it that says "Warning: Hazardous. Ages 21+" will make it okay?

Also, as someone else mentioned, meth is pretty vile too. Some of these drugs will mess you up for life. Warning labels don't really do them justice and legalizing them is extremely dangerous.

Only 30fps on consoles.

The PC version is being delayed to allow for 60fps (or unlocked fps).

I don't really think attempting to prevent heroin coming into any first-world country in mass quantities is much of a waste.

Have you seen what heroin does to people?

Disappointing. I was hoping it was you.

Targeted demographic content? And they wonder why gamers roll their eyes and move on to the next title.

I still think the FMV integration looks slick in this new NFS title but all this market research really kills the natural flow of creativity within the AAA sector.

It's a hard game. It's designed for the old-school gamer who has to try and try again.

It's a game that turns off a lot of people at first because of the steep learning curve but if you're the kind of gamer who enjoyed stuff like Ninja Gaiden Black then Warframe is a game well worth mastering.

All the cool stuff has to be done manually (wall runs, back flips, ninja moves, etc.) so it becomes more rewarding the more you play it and the more yo...

There's a lot wrong with this article.

"PlayStation consumers will be needing a female protagonist."

Why? Do we also need Arab, Chinese, Japanese, American, Australian, Black, Mexican or Brazilian protagonists as well? Could it be that maybe games need protagonists that fit the vision of the the creative design instead of having someone in there fit the quota set by the politically correct police?

"[Ubisoft] got so much bac...

There was definitely a love/hate relationship with that stage because the single-player portion could be terribly hard if you didn't do it stealth, but the multiplayer deathmatch could be a real blast at times.

It may be petty and TMZ-quality but keep in mind that reviews DO affect sales potential and studio closures.

Do I need to remind you of Obsidian's layoffs due to the Metacritic scores?

Reviews don't deserve and have lost plenty of respect from real gamers but unfortunately their collective scores still shift and sway a lot of how games are perceived by the general public, for promotional purposes and even how publishers negotiate and contract develop...

Ah, so that's how Liquid got to be the way he was and that's why Psycho Mantis was by his side. That actually explains everything in a really succinct way.

I agree with RJ92009... this should have been in the game.

Only thing is... how did Ocelot get with them after these events? Seemed like he would have be diametrically opposed to them based on these events.
