I don't blame Sony for not taking action. It's not their game and are NOT obligated to do anything. However, I do appreciate MS taking preemptive measures to quell the use of this obnoxious exploit. In the last 48hrs, I've noticed the incidents of its abuse drop dramatically on XBL. IW is working on a patch for both platforms, its just a matter of time. Can we move on?

I don't think it's fair to question the integrity of this person's research like that? He is comparing the controller's out of the box. Not how you can mod it after even for just five bucks. And yes my xbox controller battery packs have lasted that long if I'm not using a headset with it.
I agree with almost everything, especially the part the D-pads. The one detail that I think raises some questions is the recharge ability. Although, I agree that MS should have made them rechargeable out of the box, I do think the ability to swap out battery packs quickly and easily is a huge plus on the 360 controller. I pay about $500 per year for my morning coffee. I don't understand that argument either. I do like that if a cheater's account gets banned it stings a little more when creating a new account (another $50). Consequences for one's actions are good in my opinion.

You installed three games on your 120HDD and it runs slow? There must be something wrong. I have about 15 games installed on my 360 without issue. Maybe you should check to see if the games you installed were released before the 'HDD install' option was available. Halo 3 is a good example. Bungie announced that the game was not optimized for playing off the HDD. They said that performance could suffer if you did.
