I agree. There are so many games and choices from different system generations that are still viable that long games are almost a burden to me. A long game is not usually a plus for me.
Yes I think we think pretty much similarly on this. Keep a proper perspective and expectations in check and you'll likely enjoy gaming infinitely more.
It is not that games are boring per se. It's that we have been spoiled by great content for several gaming system generations. It is truly hard to reinvent the wheel with each new game. Gamers need to accept this. I am not suggesting we accept bad games because of this, but be a bit more accepting that plenty of gaming ideas and conventions will surface on subsequent games. The onus is on the game developers to try to create a unique experience from well worn and familiar game parameters ...
Booty. They said Booty...Shut up Beavis.
I will look to buy when I can get a system not in a bundle or something. I just want to pay the $399 or $499.
I have the answer. Microsoft buys Sony. Problem solved. Lol.
People are funny. Sales are going accordingly really. Xbox Series has done better than Xbox One, and he's likely because their supply was better than PS5, but regardless Xbox Series would do better anyway. While Xbox Series is selling better in Japan, they will never outsell Sony. North America is where Xbox is really making inroads. It was close between Sony and Xbox, but Don't did edge them in the end, this generation I think Xbox will continue to hold their lead. Europe is the terr...
I should have written this better. I meant sold 17,000 or anywhere near that in a single week after a year and a half out. Still my larger point is the Xbox Series S/X indeed looks to be doing much better in Japan. It will NEVER challenge Sony or Nintendo of course, but to be doing better is cool.
Nobody has really said anything, but I'm kinda surprised that the Xbox S/X sold 17,000 units in Japan. I don't think the Xbox One sold that many after a year and a half of being out. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Kinda interesting.
Same. I'll always love and play single player mode. In fact, that's all I play.
I LOVED Windjammers on Neo Geo. I can't wait to buy this on Switch!
Microsoft could buy Sony several times over. Just sayin. Microsoft is good. They have plenty of money.
I think being called an entry level system is wrong. It is simply a lower priced system and aims at a different buyer or gamer. It is for those that have not upgraded to 4k and/or have no intention to anytime soon either. Yes it could also be for those looking for a lower price point to get a current gen machine, but even then calling it a entry level system seems incorrect to me. But whatever.
I completely agree with this list! 100%. It is nearly uncanny. There was rumors Japan was the place Horizons 5 was going to be, but it turned out to be Mexico obviously. Hopefully Japan is next. Then the Pacific Northwest or India. China would be incredible too. China has EVERYTHING. Jungle to Urban to Desert.
I am guessing he means in North America. Xbox Will never remotely touch Sony or Nintendo in Japan. Europe seems to have little interest in embracing Xbox either. The 360 was the last system to nearly go toe to toe with Sony, but XB1 and PS4 was 2 to 1 almost 3 to 1 Sony. The XB1 was outsold by PS4, but not by a great deal... relatively speaking. Even the Series S/X is nearly neck and neck with the PS5. North America, or the US definitely, is the only territory that Xbox has a chance to remote...
Yes I will buy out right too. Always but Forza games.
Amen. Sadly you can't ever please everyone. And people LOVE to complain. This maybe sounds like lala land, but it would be so nice if people tried to find the good in things instead of complaining most of the time.
@brazz I think if you bought, as in paid money, the Premium Edition, not the Standard or Deluxe, you could get the game early.
@LordoftheCritics You are correct, even if some people want to deny it. EA FIFA first came out on the Panasonic 3DO. It was a huge critical darling. Konami is a credible alternative, but never was able to unseat EA's FIFA. Personally I hated when EA became the only company able to make a licensed NFL game. ESPN NFL series was beginning to really really be a better football game. So what does EA do, pays to have it so they are the only one able to make an NFL game. That sucks.
Yep. There is always someone that does this. They are indeed sad people.
