For me, price is the only barrier, and that I can't play the games I already own.
I think at a cheaper price, it is a good choice for new PSP owners.
$199/€199/£149 would at least set the ball rolling...

Take a look at the US numbers.
360 selling more than PS3 in US. Must be the Halo effect, that only seems to occur in the US in this case.

"Killer app" refers to games that can sell consoles, not always the best games.
Halo 3 is a killer app but it isn't the best 360 exclusive.
Uncharted 2 may well be a killer app, AND the best PS3 exclusive.
No other country in the world do console sales fluctuate so much. The Wii used to outsell the PS3 by 5:1. Not the PS3 is outselling it by over 3:1.
