It seems like every time it's celebration day for the TLoU universe, Naughty Dog expects us to keep spending money. I guess the pandemic hasn't taken a toll on Americans as much as it has in most countries.
Ghost: The game that keeps on giving. I would have liked the Bloodborne-inspired outfit more if it included Eileen's crow mask. Still, a nice and welcome update!
Legends is fantastic. It not having any form of microtransactions is refreshing! I can't wait to play it more!
Your reply is refreshing in that it's not attacking me nor making fun of my opinion. Kudos! Anyway, yeah, Naughty Dog is still the company to beat when it comes to production values and technical prowess. Sadly, to me Part 2's story is a miss. That said, I won't fault those who enjoyed its narrative. I guess I am just such a fan of many exemplary movies and story-driven games that something as polarizing and contrived as Part 2 isn't gonna cut it. To each his own, indeed!
This. Devs must still have that grounded side to them that requires the opinion of people who actually care. In this case, it's Shuhei. Now I know there are those who love The Last of Us Part 2, but in my opinion, if Neil only sought the opinion of similar people (and actually considered and applied them), the game would've ended up with a far better narrative. Kudos to SP for putting out such a memorable and FUN game in Ghost of Tsushima!
I got mine as part of the PS+ 10th year anniversary!
Uncharted to me is one of Playstation's staple series, so I expect at least one new Uncharted game in every console generation. I just hope it stays away from the controversy ND find themselves in. I just want a fun UC game that's devoid of pseudo-profound themes and whatnot.
I liked what I saw, despite it being a bit too far away from the things we come to expect in an RE game. But, hey, RE7 was also a major departure from the series, but it turned out amazing--at least to me, anyway! Commenting on the trailer: I am intrigued by the matriarchal characters for the most part!
I swear, if it's a new Dead Space game or something really close to it, I would flip! Also, that Silent Hill reboot rumor is as strong as ever! Still, I need to temper my expectations!
I want a new game from ND, yes, but I would be lying if I said I'm not worried about Neil's involvement in it. He is a brilliant director, yeas, but it's just that, his injecting his sociopolitical views in recent ND games I think are getting out of hand. If ND makes another game, which I know they are, I hope a different team and director are making it.
Who says anything about being able to fight back easily? Let me reiterate: "I kinda don't like games that don't give you the CHANCE to fight back."
I kinda don't like horror games that don't give you the chance to fight back, but this one is interesting, to say the least.
Too late, he consulted with Anita Sarkeesian about some elements in this game.
I just don't want the game to be preachy with wokeness and identity politics; however, since Neil has been open about him having an agenda (3rd-wave feminism at least) with the game, I feel like my wish will be crushed in this sequel. I mean, consulting with Anita Sarkeesian is worrying to be honest. I hope I'm wrong... I hope I'm wrong.
Cerny's presentation was dev-focused as opposed to gamer-focused; he even stressed that by telling stream viewers that a software-centric presentation will be for another time. That said, I understand why some people are not happy about it, considering MS just had a consumer-friendlier reveal beforehand.
I advise gamers to hang tight, because from here, gaming goodness on the Sony camp is only inevitable. I have no doubts!
Not to spoil anything, but the character who gets involved with that gay NPC isn't homophobic at all. I mean, in the vanilla version, he wasn't "scared" of the gay NPC, he just didn't like the thought of being taken advantage of by such a person. I get it though--these days, when you disagree with someone or dislike something, you will be called names and be categorized as having phobia to those things you dislike or disagree with.
I forgot how much I enjoyed Puppeteer! It's one of the PS3 titles that can benefit from a sequel or spiritual successor on the PS5.
When I first saw this game, I was quite impressed. I wonder why the Versus one is having more exposure these days though. I hope this game turns out better than I imagine.
I kinda like that virtual assistant-ish (think Alexa) design. I am not that impressed with the name though. Series X sounds like a name for a video card, if you ask me.
Not in the setting the game is in it's not. In the Philippines, cockfighting is legal.
